Hate to say it but Bowen is too good for us. Can’t imagine his frustration at constantly running and creating and his teammates being nowhere. I know he loves the club but we won’t keep him if Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle or City come calling in the summer!

  4. Postpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Aston Villa 0-0 Ipswich

Aston Villa made a right mess of that. One pass too many in the Ipswich box and eventually Morgan Rogers blazes over the bar.

  5. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 3-0 Newcastle

Manchester City fans won't want to get too carried away. They remember the 3-0 lead they held against Feyenoord earlier this season - that game ended 3-3.

But so far, so very good today - and they didn't have Omar Marmoush when they faced Feyenoord.

    West Ham 0-1 Brentford

    Reprieve for West Ham!

The Brentford goal is ruled out for an offside in the build up.

  7. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 3-0 Newcastle

If you can't stop him, foul him.

Omar Marmoush is walking gingerly after a rustic tackle from a Newcastle player. He should be ok.

  8. goal

GOAL - West Ham 0-2 Brentfordpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Yoane Wissa

    There's the second!

It is a nice build up with short, intricate passes inside the box to open up the defence before the ball is played to Yoane Wissa, who sweeps home.

VAR is going to check for an offside, however...

  9. RED CARDpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Aston Villa 0-0 Ipswich

    Not what Ipswich needed.

The visitors have done well to frustrate Aston Villa so far, but they're going to have to see this game out with 10 men.

Difficult to know what Potter has been seeing in training this last week. Soler today is anonymous, Soucek and Kudus all out of sorts. We have zero threat.

You watch Newcastle play against Arsenal and you may think they are world beaters and almost unplayable. Against Man City they look like kittens. What a frustrating team.

    Chris Wood (37 mins)

That is superb from Chris Wood and Nottingham Forest are level.

Morgan Gibbs-White sends a ball over the top, but Wood still has plenty of work to do after taking it down, beating Anthony Robinson before cutting back and swerving his strike past Calvin Bassey and into the bottom left corner.

That's goal number 18 for Wood in the Premier League this season.

  13. Postpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    West Ham 0-1 Brentford

Brentford could be two or three up but as it is West Ham are very much still in this.

Jarrod Bowen is the one attempting to create almost everything for the hosts, but his cross towards the far post has too much on it and goes behind.

Lewis Hall is absolutely petrified of Savinho, isn't he? That match-up was always going to have a big bearing on this game. Hall just cannot cope.

Punch-drunk Newcastle aim to respond, Jacob Murphy has a cross deflected behind for a corner by John Stones.

After a short corner routine, Kieran Trippier's cross to the back post is headed over by Bruno Guimaraes.

Everyone's talking about Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland before the game, who would you take? You'd take Omar Marmoush on this afternoon's performance.

  17. The 'old' Man Citypublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 3-0 Newcastle

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Manchester City's supporters have waited a long time for their team to show this kind of attacking intent.

Savinho has looked to attack the Newcastle defence at pace, Phil Foden is scheming in the number 10 role, Erling Haaland is a physical threat and now Omar Marmoush has hit the net.

It's like the 'old' Manchester City.

  18. 'Outstanding work from Savinho'published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Manchester City 3-0 Newcastle

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa striker on Final Score

It was outstanding work from Savinho, he got into the box and he knew he had a better option.

Omar Marmoush was there for a tap-in.

  19. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 3-0 Newcastle

Omar Marmoush scored 20 goals in the first half of this season for Eintracht Frankfurt, and after four goalless games for Man City he is back with a bang today.

The confidence is flowing through City now, Savinho slashing an effort across the face of goal.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Ipswich

Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa reactsImage source, Getty Images

It's been a frustrating opening half hour for Aston Villa and they should be 1-0 up there.

It's a brilliant ball for Ollie Watkins from new signing Axel Disasi but the England forward can't cut it back and beat Alex Palmer in the Ipswich goal.
