    Omar Marmoush (23 mins)

Are we witnessing the birth of a new Premier League star?

Omar Marmoush picks up the pass following a good run by Ilkay Gundogan, cuts in on his right and fires past Martin Dubravka, thanks to a slight deflection off Kieran Trippier.

There was a brief check for offside, but Dan Burn played Marmoush on.

  3. Trippier got that all wrongpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 1-0 Newcastle

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Kieran Tripper got his angles all wrong there.

He seemed to be in control of the situation as Ederson's long kick floated over Erling Haaland.

But the former England defender committed himself to the header rather than continuing to cover the situation and missed it.

A top class striker will finish when all he has to do is lob it over the keeper.

    Fulham 1-0 Nottm Forest

Fulham are continuing to pepper the Nottingham Forest box with crosses, while the visitors haven't got going at all here at Craven Cottage.

  5. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 1-0 Newcastle

Anthony Gordon turns Abdukodir Khusanov but cannot find the final ball to Alexander Isak.

Newcastle have plenty of attacking threat, they are certainly still in this game.

  6. 'Man City on top'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 1-0 Newcastle United

    Steph Houghton
Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

    It's a great goal.

Ederson has a big part. Newcastle want to go tight with Erling Haaland and that leaves a gap.

Man City have been on top.

    Southampton 0-2 Bournemouth

    Steph Houghton
Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

The most important thing you do when you go down a goal is stay in the game and Southampton have not done that.

Bournemouth have been at it since the very beginning.

  8. 'Terrible defending but clinical finish'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Manchester City 1-0 Newcastle

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Newcastle prepared to go man-for-man, prepared to press Manchester City high. It's just one long ball from Everton who clips it over the Newcastle back line, terrible judgment from Kieran Trippier who thinks he can just head the ball.

It's then all about Omar Marmoush staying calm and he just lifts the ball over Martin Dubravka. Terrible defending from Trippier but the finish was clinical from Marmoush.

  9. goal

    Omar Marmoush (19 mins)

    There's his first City goal!

Ederson gets the assist thanks to a perfectly weighted long pass, although Kieran Trippier has to take some responsibility as he misses his defensive header.

Omar Marmoush gets away from Trippier and lobs a perfect finish over the onrushing Martin Dubravka, to move Man City into the top four as we stand.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Aston Villa 0-0 Ipswich

Early changes for both sides. Something that neither manager would have wanted.

Julio Enciso is replaced by Jack Clarke for Ipswich, while Villa bring on Tyrone Mings for Boubacar Kamara.

  11. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    West Ham 0-1 Brentford

Good charge forward by West Ham as the ball is worked to Jarrod Bowen, but his cross inside the box is blocked.

  12. 'Marmoush should cross it'published at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Manchester City 0-0 Newcastle

    Chris Sutton
Former Celtic striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Marmoush is playing narrow off the left hand side. It's a slide rule pass from Gvardiol to feed Marmoush. I think he should try to cross it in, he elects to shoot and it's well over Dubravka's bar.

  13. Hard-working Magpiespublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Man City 0-0 Newcastle

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Newcastle haven't had many extended periods of possession but they are keeping their shape well and not allowing Manchester City much space.

Eddie Howe will hope the home side's intensity drops at some point and that will allow the likes of Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon to get on the ball.

Howe is offering plenty of encouragement from the sidelines.

  14. goal

    Ryan Christie (16 mins)

It is two in two minutes!

Ryan Christie provided the assist for the opener and now he is on the scoresheet as he lets fly with a powerful effort from outside the box.

Omar Marmoush has looked lively so far, but here can only shoot over while off balance.

This is Marmoush's fifth City appearance, he is yet to score his first goal for his new club.

    Dango Ouattara (14 mins)

    Fantastic finish!

Dango Ouattara, who scored a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest recently, puts the visitors ahead as he rises to meet Ryan Christie's superb cross and glances a header into the bottom corner.

Plenty of Fulham fans thought that was in, but Raul Jimenez's looping header bounces and bristles off the wrong side of the net.

  20. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Fulham 0-0 Nottm Forest

That wasn't far off from Neco Williams. The left-back takes a swipe at goal, forcing Bernd Leno down low at his near post, but the strike drifts just wide.
