    Great start to this game, proper end-to-end.

    Palace burst up the other end and Ismaila Sarr looks for the bottom corner but Bart Verbruggen gets a big hand to it.

    Both players are up and we're back under way at Villa Park. Tyler Adams has continued to play but Adam Smith has already made his way down the tunnel. It looked like he had a cut or something on his head. Bournemouth down to 10 for the time being.

    Palace half-clear from the corner but Diego Gomez is sharp in the box and fires an effort at goal. Dean Henderson does well to react in time.

    Kevin Schade can't get his diving header on target. The ball in was just a touch too far in front of him.

    That is lovely stuff from Brighton. They carve through the Palace midfield with Georginio Rutter and Mats Wieffer's cross is sliced behind.

    If Newcastle's league form does not improve, I can see the pressure building on Howe to turn things around or the danger of him losing his job becomes real.

    He picks the ball up and drives at players. It was a decent save from Lucas Perri in the end.

    It is an intriguing game. The sides have different styles of play which are both very effective.

    They way Bournemouth press high up the pitch and how good they are transition might limit Aston Villa.
