  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:22 GMT

    Aston Villa 2-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have been much better in this second half. The cross comes in and Evanilson nods down at the back post but it comes off the woodwork.

It drops behind for a corner but Emi Martinez has it covered.

  2. PENALTY TO BRIGHTONpublished at 15:21 GMT

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton

Referee Tim Robinson points to the spot but is there contact on Georginio Rutter?

    I don't think so.

  3. Familiar route pays off for Brentfordpublished at 15:21 GMT

    Brentford 1-1 Newcastle

    Ciaran Kelly
BBC Sport reporter at Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford have caused some nervy moments from long throws into the box - and that goal has been coming.

Newcastle United did not deal with Michael Kayode's delivery well enough.

Captain Bruno Guimaraes complained to referee Stuart Attwell, feeling goalkeeper Nick Pope had been impeded, but the goal rightly stands.

  4. Postpublished at 15:20 GMT

    Brentford 1-1 Newcastle

Brentford have scored three goals from throw-in situations in the Premier League this season, the joint-most of any side (level with Crystal Palace).

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:20 GMT

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton

Carlos Baleba goes in the book for a late foul.

  6. Postpublished at 15:20 GMT

    Aston Villa 2-0 Bournemouth

Emi Martinez is left back pedalling to prevent Alex Scott from finding the back of the net and he does really well to not get lobbed.

    Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds

Gabriel Gudmundsson starts running with the ball from his own half and makes it to the byline but he doesn't have much support.

Almost as if his Leeds team-mates didn't think he'd make it that far.

  8. Postpublished at 15:19 GMT

    Aston Villa 2-0 Bournemouth

    Dave Edwards
Former Wales midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2 at Villa Park

Bournemouth are already playing more in the Aston Villa half, which we didn't see in the first half.

It is roles reversed really - Villa can't get themselves out and every time they do win the ball, Bournemouth are straight back on top of them.

  9. 'Pope isn't impeded'published at 15:19 GMT

    Brentford 1-1 Newcastle

    Kit Symons
Former Premier League defender speaking on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Nick Pope is not impeded. There are players around him but he is not being held or anything like that.

It is a little flick on at the near post and it falls to Schade who finishes.

Palace are starting to feel the effects of extra games and a shallow squad, as they failed to add enough enough reinforcements in the summer. Glasner tends to put out his strongest team regardless of the competition they're playing in, and whilst this is admirable, they'll struggle to sustain this pace all season if they don't bring in some new faces to allow some rotation.

  11. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-1 Newcastlepublished at 15:17 GMT

    Kevin Schade (56 mins)

At last a long throw in from Michael Kayode comes to something!

It's nodded along at the near post before it drops to Kevin Schade who sticks it in the back of the net.

    It had been coming.

  12. Postpublished at 15:17 GMT

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton

You get the feeling Brighton are knocking on the door a bit more here. Danny Welbeck should be through on goal but Georginio Rutter can't produce the right pass.

    Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds

The Leeds fans are in full voice behind the goal they're now attacking.

Leeds have been pretty poor going forward but won't stop their fans.

    Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at City Ground

I wasn't expecting either team to turn into peak Barcelona or the 2015-16 Oxford United team today, but come on, this is a poor watch.

There is still hope though - West Ham v Burnley turned into a 3-2 yesterday which seemed impossible at one stage.

  15. Postpublished at 15:15 GMT

    Brentford 0-1 Newcastle

Newcastle's one and only shot on target so far in this game was Harvey Barnes' goal.

Brentford have been unable to make any of their seven attempts count.

  16. Postpublished at 15:14 GMT

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton

It's more good work from Ismaila Sarr but he doesn't quite have the room to shoot. The ball ends up at the feet of Daichi Kamada. His first touch is poor and his second touch is even worse.

  17. Postpublished at 15:14 GMT

    Aston Villa 2-0 Bournemouth

Oh dear. Adrien Truffert brings down John McGinn. He's already on a yellow card so as you can imagine the home supporters are not happy with that.

He receives a talking to from the referee but no second booking.

What a dreadful display of football at the City ground. Leeds are so poor at passing and pose no threat to the opposition for most of the game.

  19. Villa's energy making the differencepublished at 15:12 GMT

    Aston Villa 2-0 Bournemouth

    Wayne Rooney
    BBC MOTD pundit

Aston Villa’s energy in the first-half was really good. They made some great runs into the channels which helped create chances. Ollie Watkins was left out by England due to fitness concerns but has looked sharp. Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers have worked very hard.

You can hear more from Rooney on MOTD at 22:30 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  20. 'Jesus has been key'published at 15:12 GMT

    Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds

    Sue Smith
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC Radio 5 Live at City Ground

Brilliant bit of play from Forest. They show how quick they can go from back to front.

You can see the Sean Dyche affect on this Forest side. They're not messing around with the ball at the back.
