    Dan Ndoye is rapid!

He flies past Joe Rodon in the box and could've gone down. He stays upright and looks for Igor Jesus but Jayden Bogle does so well to block.

    HT: Crystal Palace 0-0 Brighton

This is the first Premier League match between Brighton and Crystal Palace to be goalless at half-time since February 2023, a match that went on to finish 1-1. Since then, the two sides have played each other five times, with nine goals being scored in the first half of those matches combined.

    HT: Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds

That was the first time Leeds had only had one shot in the first half of a league game under Daniel Farke and only the second time they'd faced as many as 10 shots in the first 45 minutes under the German - Ipswich had 14 in August 2023.

    Danny Murphy
BBC Match of the Day pundit

Newcastle have been very good defensively, they are so well organised. They have not been great going forward, but they have had no problems dealing with Brentford's physicality when the home side have attacked.

You can hear more from Murphy on MOTD at 22:30 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

A few boos for the officials from Brentford fans at half-time.

Defender Michael Kayode is deep in conversation with referee Stuart Attwell as they make their way off the pitch.

Newcastle United have had some nervy moments at the back, particularly from set-plays, but have dug in, which the visitors certainly didn't do after taking the lead against West Ham last week.

    A big 45 minutes ahead.

Not the best half of football you'll see.

Two of the worst teams in the league looking like exactly what they are.

Forest have been the better team though. In fact Leeds have only had one shot - their goal.

All the action was bunched up in 10 or 15 minutes early enough in the game.
