An unbelievable start for Manchester City. Straight from kick-off, Khadija Shaw was putting Tottenham's backline under pressure.

It's an awful mistake from Clare Hunt and Shaw was never missing from there.

Fans were still taking their seats. Loads of them missed the goal as they came through the turnstiles near us.

A horrible mistake in the first minute from Clare Hunt and Khadija Shaw takes full advantage.

She races onto the loose ball and slides a finish into the bottom corner beyond Becky Spencer.

You don't give the WSL Golden Boot winner of the last two seasons running that sort of opportunity!

Where has this Arsenal team been all season?! Brilliant goal by Maanum but Brighton so open defensively.

    William

That was pure filth by Maanum, and on a Friday night not on the telly too. Totally worth the trip to see it.

    Arsenal have another!

Once again, it's another neat move that leads to a goal for the Gunners.

Emily Fox slides the ball to Kim Little who overlaps with her on the right wing before whipping a low cross towards the six-yard box.

Her delivery falls perfectly for Caitlin Foord to run onto it and turn it past Sophie Baggaley.

Renee Slegers will be happy with how Arsenal have performed so far.

While both teams have the same number of final third entries, Brighton have only had one touch in Arsenal's box - the Gunners have had four in the Seagulls'.

The visitors aren't managing to work the ball into dangerous areas.

Man City v Tottenham (19:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Man City boss Gareth Taylor speaking to Sky Sports: "We had some issues with players having niggles but on top of that we want to keep continuity in the team. After the international break it is always difficult but I felt the performance against Crystal Palace was good.

"At times over the next week I'm pretty certain the team will change, we have three games in a week, but we felt keeping things the same was the right thing to do tonight."

On having an eye on the coming games: "We try not to do that. We always try to look at the game that is in front of us and we will continue to do that.

"We have wider meetings we talk about those sorts of things but this is the position we wanted to be in, to be busy and have the tight schedule and turn around for games. The players are really thriving."

Man City v Tottenham (19:30 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Robert Vilahamn to Sky Sports: "We have only had a few days with the players but we understand that we have to be really sharp with how we defend but also to be brave and play our style.

"We played really good football against Manchester United and Chelsea as well, so it is about knowing when to do that and when to defend. It will be more of a transition game and we need to make sure we have control of that."
