1. Arsenal have had a 'virtually perfect season'published at 15:23 British Summer Time 14 May

    Chris Sutton
    Former Celtic striker

Chris Sutton on the BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club: "It is just unfortunate that Arsenal are up against Man City, who have this habit of suffocating the longer the season goes on, they are relentless.

"I just dont know how Arsenal players are going to feel by the end of the season, if they finish second because the have given everything.

"Arsenal look like they are going to get close, its virtually been the perfect season for them.

"I wonder if they do place second, can they go again next season or will it be psychologically damaging."

Spurs can make City champions tonight - they did it before - in 2016??

From Andy, forever a grateful Leicester City fan

Not officially, Andy. Regardless of the result tonight, this Premier League title race is going to the final day.

  3. 'I wish that City had a weakness'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 14 May

Tottenham v Man City (20:00 BST)

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Rory Smith on Manchester City dealing with pressure: "I guess City do probably reserve energy, as they don't want to peak too soon in the season. I definitely think in the last seven years City have been able to respond to pressure, so if a team gets off to a flyer, City have that ability to go into that extra gear.

"I think if we had seen City go up 10 from 10 at the start of the season, that's when we would have seen them build up the pressure."

Chris Sutton added: "I wish that City had a weakness, they just don't seem to. Their mental strength and the way they just crush everything that comes in front of them, it's so good and to be applauded.

"None of us are excited as we expect City to win and that shouldn't be the case."

I'm sure Manchester City fans will be urging their team on tonight, understandably they will want that unprecedented 4th title in a row. But would it honestly be good for the football in England if it did happen? Many have laughed at the Scottish, German, French leagues etc, when a team has won league titles year after year after year. Perhaps England will be dubbed the new farmer's league!

Brighton v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 BST)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi on Chelsea: "They are playing very well, they deserve to be fighting for a European position.

"Pochettino is a top coach and they have top players. Very young but they are improving game by game. I watched their last five or six games, for them the Man Utd game was crucial. They were losing 3-2 in injury time and they won 4-3.

"They deserve what they are doing."

I'm a Spurs fan and I want us to win every match we play, 100%. Those who care for bragging rights will always find a way to exercise them, so good luck to them.

  7. Tonight there will 'be goals and a lot of them'published at 14:58 British Summer Time 14 May

Tottenham v Man City (20:00 BST)

Former Manchester City forward Paul Dickov told BBC Radio 5 Live that the club have already put to bed their poor record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a win in this season's FA Cup: "City have sort of got the monkey off their back. When they played in the FA Cup they hadn't even scored a goal, never mind picked up a point, so they will be looking at that FA Cup win and hoping that's behind them now.

"It's going to be some game down there. City are used to the pressure. The form of the last five or six weeks has been very similar to last season and the season before.

"People were saying they were not at their best for the majority of this season, they were winning games but not playing their best, but the last few weeks they have been outstanding.

"They look as if there is a real confidence around them. I have no doubt they will go down there and win. One thing there will be tonight is goals - and a lot of them."

As an Aston Villa fan, I am very much supporting Manchester City. I do like Arsenal so happy for City to lose on Sunday but do us a favour tonight please. Grealish could even get the winner to show he’s still Villa through and through!

Manchester United and Chelsea would be challenging Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title if success only came down to money spent, says Pep Guardiola.

The City manager rejects the notion his side’s success is getting boring - and says if money was the only reason for it they would not be at the top.

“It’s not boring,” said Guardiola. “It’s difficult.

“Before it was the money. For that reason, Manchester United should have won all the titles, Chelsea - all the titles, Arsenal - all the titles. They spend as much money in the last five years as us. They should be there. They are not there.

“For that reason Girona shouldn’t be in the Champions League [next season] and Leicester should win the Premier League.”

  10. Lallana 'a big loss' and 'could be a coach'published at 14:46 British Summer Time 14 May

Brighton v Chelsea (Wed, 19:45 BST)

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi on Adam Lallana: "We're losing a great player, a great man. I think he is very smart and he might not be able to play two games in three days but he is still an incredible player.

"I've been lucky to work with him, he's an honest guy and I've learned a lot from him because he loves football. He could be a coach because he understands football."

"He will be a big loss for us but we have to move on. The leadership of Adam is clear, but it is an opportunity for others to progress in personality and leadership."

We brought you the news on Monday that Lallana will leave Brighton at the end of the season. Click here for the full story.

Manchester United cancelling the awards dinner is pretty tone deaf. Imagine being on the women's team, having given your all and won the FA Cup, only to get your awards ceremony pancaked just because the men's team has had a pathetic season. The academy team deserve their awards too after a belter of a season. If you don't want the men's team to have one, then don't let them show up to it. Debatable choice, but whatever. Shutting the whole thing down though really just sends the signal that you don't care about anything other than your men's senior side. Big yikes.

  19. Player awards dinner scrappedpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 14 May

    Manchester United

In case you missed it earlier, BBC Sport's chief football news reporter Simon Stone revealed that Manchester United had scrapped plans to host a player of the year award next week.

The awards had been planned for 20 May, however, manager Erik ten Hag and the rest of the football leadership at Old Trafford do not want any distractions ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester City on 25 May.

Club sources say winners will be selected for the men's and women's team and the academy as normal but there will be no dinner, which the club has said in the past raises "vital funds" for United's Foundation.

While at first-team level, it has been a difficult season for United, on Sunday their women's team won the FA Cup for the first time.

United's academy side finished top of Premier League North, winning 20 out of its 24 matches. They play Chelsea for the national title on Tuesday.

Uefa bringing in a rule that only the captains can approach the referees for the Euros is great news. Just have to wonder why it hasn't been done sooner and hopefully it will be implemented across the sport as soon as possible.
