  1. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time

    Norwich 0-2 Middlesbrough

Norwich are trying to get back into it early in the second half but Ante Crnac has been denied by a timely block by Luke Ayling.

Sam Silvera is down and in trouble after a collision with Jack Stacey in the Boro box after Pape Amadou Diallo sent in a cross after Ayling's block.

  2. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time

    Preston 1-0 Ipswich

    Gavin Ramjaun
    BBC Final Score at Deepdale

Preston look dangerous out wide - Thierry Small looks a great find for Paul Heckingbottom’s side, and of course the big men up front are a handful.

Quite old school this. Can Preston hang out and beat another relegated Premier League side in Ipswich, having done the same to Leicester last week?

  3. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Millwall

The home side, as they really must, start the half on the front foot but Steven Benda makes a great save to deny Louie Barry.

Midfielder Sydie Peck then sees a header cleared off the line.

  4. goal

GOAL: Coventry 6-0 QPRpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time

    Victor Torp (47 mins)

This is not the way to start the second half when you go in at 5-0.

It's just 80 seconds in and from the kick-off Coventry go straight on the attack. Ephron Mason-Clark finds Victor Torp whose first time effort flies into the far corner.

There's a whole half to go yet for QPR but the Sky Blues won't want this to end.

  5. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time

    West Brom 1-0 Portsmouth

    John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at The Hawthorns

You know you’ve made a good start as a manager when the fans are singing your name after just four games in charge.

“We’ve got Ryan Mason” and “Ryan give us a wave” were getting regular airings in the first half.

He gave a tentative wave back because he must know the job isn’t done here. Portsmouth have been second best but did create a couple of decent chances.

As it stands though Mason’s excellent start continues.

Caught your breath yet? No, didn't think so.

Either way, we are back under way...

  7. Postpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time

    HT: Norwich 0-2 Middlesbrough

    Marc Webber
BBC Final Score commentator at Carrow Road

The Norwich tea bars were called into early action thanks to that Middlesbrough quick double at the end of the first half.

Heads dropped on the pitch and in the home stands.

The Middlesbrough fans are bouncing, singing “we are top of the league” after their side unlocked Norwich’s defensive frailties.

  8. 'We must be disciplined in the second half'published at 15:58 British Summer Time

    FT: Norwich 0-2 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

That first 10 minutes I'm thinking the game was there for us.

All of a sudden Norwich just claw their way back into the game, they became better and had good chances.

They make a couple of mistakes and suddenly we get two goals. The second half now must be a disciplined performance.

  9. 'Pleasing first half'published at 15:57 British Summer Time

    HT: Southampton 0-0 Stoke

    Andy Quy
    BBC Radio Stoke summariser

I'm really pleased with that first half and I think Mark Robins should be too.

They've had good opportunities albeit Southampton hitting the post on a couple of occasions.

    Birmingham 1-0 Oxford

Paik Seung-Ho goal separates the sides at the break at St Andrew's.

Blues have had the better chances particularly Kyogo but they go in deserving of the lead.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time

    Southampton 0-0 Stoke

Saints came so close to a breakthrough just before the break as Jay Robinson saw a shot from the edge of the box come back off Viktor Johansson's right hand post and then gets another crack as the rebound deflects to him, only to thud the woodwork again.

Stoke have had their chances too. The first goal feels crucial at St Mary's.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time

    Coventry 5-0 QPR

Coventry score five first half goals to lead QPR at the break.

Haji Wright and Jack Rudoni score a brace each, with Brandon Thomas-Asante also chipping in with a goal to put them well and truly in the driving seat.

What a day so far for the Sky Blues.

  13. 'Home side should lead by more'published at 15:51 British Summer Time

    HT: Wrexham 2-0 Sheff Wed

Kieffer Moore celebrates for WrexhamImage source, PA Media

    Wrexham are enjoying this one.

If there's solidarity between fans on off-the-pitch matters, there's not much sympathy for the way this game is heading.

The home fans are very aware this could be a first win at this level since 1982 - and they're not going to be afraid to celebrate it.

Wrexham are consistently finding space and, in truth, should have found the net for at least a third time by now.

Kieffer Moore is having a field day but Wednesday's new keeper Evan Horvath at least clawed away one header that looked like it was heading over the line. It doesn't quite make up for the way he spilled the shot that led to Wrexham's second, but it's a start.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time

    Norwich 0-2 Middlesbrough

What a finish to the half from Boro.

Norwich haven't helped themselves with some suspect defending but Boro cut them open for Finn Azaz to slam home the opener on 43 minutes and Tommy Conway touched in from close range two minutes later after good work from Aidan Morris.

Rob Edwards will enjoy his half-time cuppa and orange slice.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time

    Preston 1-0 Ipswich

Milutin Osmajic's tird goal in as many games has Preston a goal to the good at the break.

The North End forward won a penalty after a foul from Jacob Greaves on 11 minutes and sent Alex Palmer the wrong way from the spot himself.

Work to do for Kieran McKenna and Ipswich.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time

    Wrexham 2-0 Sheff Wed

A double from Kieffer Moore has the home side in a great position to end their search for points this season.

For fellow pointless side Sheffield Wednesday things show no sign of getting better any time soon.

  17. 'Boro just need the clean sheet'published at 15:48 British Summer Time

    Norwich 0-2 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

It's two goals in three minutes!

They'll now just want to be keeping this clean sheet intact. It's largely against the run of play but they won't care about that.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time

    West Brom 1-0 Portsmouth

Mikey Johnston's goal has West Brom on course to continue their 100% start tot he Championship season.

What a half for Coventry. FIVE GOALS!

Jack Rudoni gets his second of the game with a lovely curled finish.

QPR fans will want the full-time whistle one would imagine never mind the half-time one.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time

    Sheff Utd 0-1 Millwall

The home side are behind at the break and need to do something to avoid starting the season with four straight losses.
