Summary

  1. Goodbye!published at 18:23 British Summer Time 20 October

Another entertaining Sunday in the SWPL comes to an end, and we nearly had another win for the Edinburgh massive over Glasgow - but it just wasn't to be.

This league has taken so many twists and turns already - and we're only 11 games in.

Of course, Jane Lewis will be bringing together all the best bits with Sportscene Highlights on Monday at 19:00 on the BBC Scotland channel.

See you after the international break.

  2. Let's have a look at the table...published at 18:19 British Summer Time 20 October

Glasgow City are our new leaders, after Rangers drop points by drawing against Hibs - a draw that was very nearly a loss.

As for Hibs, they stay above Celtic after earning that point over Rangers.

Hearts stay in the race with that win over Montrose.

    FT: Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

Let's have a look at the classifieds after the SWPL Sunday that was...

    Aberdeen P-P Motherwell

    Partick Thistle 2-0 Queen's Park

    Montrose 0-3 Heart of Midlothian

    Celtic 1-0 Spartans

    Dundee United 0-13 Celtic

    Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

  4. FULL-TIME Hibernian 1-1 Rangerspublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 20 October

Despite Rangers' late rally, they cannot complete the comeback to turn the scoreline on its head.

Desperately unlucky for Hibs, who missed a late penalty to potentially put them 2-0 up, only to concede in the 92nd minute.

Jo Potter's side have been in a game there, and they'll know it.

They now trail Glasgow City by a point in the league table, while Hibs again take points off the big three.

I said Rangers would never give up.

That's harsh on Hibs, I feel for them, because I don't think Rangers deserve anything from today.

  6. Postpublished at 94 mins

    Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

    Rangers almost get a second!

A long ball bounces into the box, Erin Clachers comes and can't get there. The ball drops to Rio Hardy but Rachael Boyle puts in an important block.

  7. goal

GOAL Hibernian 1-1 RANGERSpublished at 92 mins

    Rio Hardy

    They've done it!

Katie Wilkinson's free-kick is initially well-saved by Erin Clachers but Hardy is following in and blasts in the rebound.

Fair play to Debbi McCulloch, she predicted that perfectly in co-comms.

  8. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

Dare I say, a bit of justice done there? The replays showed Leah Eddie hardly touched Kirsty Morrison, who leapt into the air like a salmon.

Just two minutes remain for Rangers to find a leveller - which they'd take at this point.

  9. FULL-TIME Dundee United 0-13 Glasgow Citypublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 20 October

And after four minutes of stoppage time, the referee brings the most one-sided encounter in the SWPL this season to an end.The win puts Glasgow City top of the league by a point from Hearts going into the international break, and moves brings their goal difference past their Edinburgh rivals too. United remain winless, with just one point, and a goal difference of -56. A tough, tough day for the hosts.

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

    Debbi McCulloch
Former Spartans manager on BBC Alba

That is a difficult situation to be in. She had to put the ball back on the spot five or six times.

You could see she was rushing because she didn't want the ball to move as she was taking it.

  11. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 85 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

This is a farce now. The ball cannot stay on the penalty spot because of the wind. It's taking an absolute age, and there's nothing poor Adams can do.

Eventually, she steps up with the ball wobbling... and Jenna Fife guesses the right way!

Rangers still have a chance here.

  12. PENALTY to Hibs!published at 82 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

Kirsty Morrison goes down under the challenge of Leah Eddie... and it's a penalty!

That looks extremely harsh on Eddie, but the referee has made up his mind. No VAR in this league!

  13. Postpublished at 78 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

Tegan Bowie has given absolutely everything and is officially spent. She'll be replaced by Rosie Livingstone, in a slightly defensive change - given Abbie Ferguson is on the bench.

12 minutes left - plus stoppage time - for Hibs to hold on.

  14. goal

GOAL Dundee United 0-13 Glasgow CItypublished at 84 mins

    Nicole Koslova

Well, there's the unlucky 13. Point blank header from Koslova to grab her brace, after the ball was tipped away by Mowatt made a valiant effort to stop an earlier looping effortt.

It'll be interesting to see if Rachael [Boyle] goes into full-back or midfield. She could do both, she's a talented player.

A player of her experience coming on for Hibs will settle them down, keep them focused and make them stick to the game plan.

  16. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

Rangers brought on Rio Hardy for Kirsty Howat a while back, and now Hibs respond with a change of their own.

Club captain Rachael Boyle replaced Lauren Doran-Barr.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 17:45 British Summer Time 20 October

    Dundee United 0-12 Glasgow City

Mowatt pulls off an outstanding save from Lisa Evans' free kick just outside the box. Small comfort after shipping 12 so far, perhaps, but a really impressive stop.

  18. goal

GOAL Dundee United 0-12 Glasgow Citypublished at 75 mins

    Nicole Kozlova

Well, that record-equaling status didn't last long as City rack up the biggest scoreline of the season, Nicole Koslova turning home after a well-taken corner. United look utterly shellshocked - the only time the ball is leaving their half now is from goal-kicks and kick-offs.

  19. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 Rangers

Mia McAulay bursts forward on the left, but running into a headwind slows her down and Hibs are able to catch up.

Eventually, the ball is worked to Kirsty Maclean who chips an easy one into Erin Clachers mitts.

  20. goal

GOAL Dundee United 0-11 Glasgow Citypublished at 71 mins

    Lisa Forrest

Substitute Lisa Forrest dances her way through United's now flagging defence to make it 11 and equal this season's record score.
