The league leaders show no signs of relinquishing their space at the top as they go into the tunnel ahead at Fratton Park.

Brandon Thomas-Asante the man to get the opener with a nod from close range.

The Ghana international has the most goal involvements of anyone in the Championship and he's eking forward to being the league's top scorer.

    Instant response!

Anis Mehmeti with a peeling run in behind the Southampton defence and Rob Dickie swings a pass towards him from inside his own half.

Nathan Wood comes across but he can't clear and it bobbles through to Mehmeti, who takes his time with a touch into the area and slides a right-foot shot into the bottom-left corner.

Superb finish and we're level at Ashton Gate.

Two minutes tacked on at the end of this opening half.

  6. Postpublished at 20:31 BST 21 October

    Hull 2-0 Leicester

Four more minutes added to the clock.

Foxes boss Marti Cifuentes is likely already planning that half-time pep talk.

  7. Postpublished at 20:30 BST 21 October

    Blackburn 1-0 Sheff Utd

Just the one minute added on.

  8. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 20:29 BST 21 October

    Adam Armstrong (30 mins)

    But no flag this time!

Shea Charles from the centre of the park slides a perfect pass that splits the defence, Adam Armstrong takes a touch, draws the goalkeeper and delightfully dinks it over him.

His fourth goal of the season.

    Portsmouth 0-1 Coventry

Coventry’s goal difference currently matches the combined difference of the eight teams (yes eight teams) below them. Outstanding

    Mark - Kent

30 scored, seven conceded for the Sky Blues. Oustanding indeed.

  10. 'Stoke look messy in the midfield'published at 20:28 BST 21 October

    Millwall 2-0 Stoke

    Angela Smith
    BBC Radio Stoke

Milwall will be quite happy with this game is going now, it's getting messy and Derek Mazou-Sacko is doing everything to keep Millwall on the front foot.

Thierno Ballo has been there best player but Stoke are looking messy and raggy in the midfield. I think Mark Robins will look to make changes at half-time.

  11. Postpublished at 20:27 BST 21 October

    Bristol City 0-0 Southampton

Southampton's Brazilian winger Welington went down in some pain holding his knee and it didn't look good.

But he shook it off to rejoin the action, just before Adam Armstrong was flagged offside when he thought he was through on goal.

City then force their first corner of the game and the cross from the left is well headed away from under the shadow of the bar.

  12. goal

GOAL Blackburn 1-0 Sheff Utdpublished at 20:26 BST 21 October

    Yuki Ohashi (40 mins)

    Rovers find a way through.

Yuki Ohashi has his second goal of the season with Dion De Neve supplying the pass for the Japanese forward to apply the finish from inside the box.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:25 BST 21 October

    Millwall 2-0 Stoke

Junior Tchamadeu wins possession and collides with Millwall midfielder Casper De Norre.

It's the Stoke man who comes out on top and it sets up a tantalising chance to attack but the referee blows the whistle and pulls it back.

Tchamadeu is cautioned but what's going to leave them really frustrated is that they've been robbed of a opportunity to pull themselves back into the match.

  14. Postpublished at 20:24 BST 21 October

    Ipswich 0-0 Charlton

Charlton finally come alive as an attacking force.

Replacement goalkeeper Christian Walton has to be alert to the threat and is out to save from Isaac Olaofe.

  15. 'Canaries look more organised'published at 20:22 BST 21 October

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby commentator

Norwich just look a much better organised side than Derby at the moment.

Norwich just seem to play out of positions.

  16. Postpublished at 20:22 BST 21 October

    Blackburn 0-0 Sheff Utd

Michael Cooper is called into action in the Sheffield United goal.

Andri Gudjohnsen gets his head to a cross but it's pouched by the Blades 'keeper.

Play swings to the other end and Callum O'Hare's shot is blocked by Balazs Toth.

  17. 'Derby can't get a foothold'published at 20:21 BST 21 October

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

At the moment it's all Norwich, Derby just can not get a foothold in the game. They need a set-piece, they need to stay in the game.

  18. Postpublished at 20:21 BST 21 October

    Ipswich 0-0 Charlton

Jacob Greaves nods one over for Ipswich who, for all their dominance have had just the one effort on target.

Have Charlton weathered the storm at a damp Portman Road?

  19. goal

GOAL: Preston 0-1 Birminghampublished at 20:19 BST 21 October

    Phil Neumann (33 mins)

    Blues takes the lead!

A free-kick from the left is swung over by Alex Cochrane and Phil Neumann is there at the near post to head in the opener!

Some rather sarcastic celebrations from the visiting fans - set piece goals have been a real rarity for Birmingham.

  20. goal

GOAL: Hull 2-0 Leicesterpublished at 20:19 BST 21 October

    Joe Gelhardt (31 mins)

    Hull double their lead.

Ryan Giles drills a low ball into the box and Joe Gelhardt is in the right place at the right time to just nestle it into the net.

Leicester have been the draw kings in recent weeks... they'll do well to get something out of this one now.
