  1. 'A wonderful cross from Ballo'published at 19:57 BST 21 October

    Millwall 1-0 Stoke

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

What a wonderful cross from Thierno Ballo, the full-back didn't stand a chance and Femi Azeez was always going to get it.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:57 BST 21 October

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

Jack Stacey yanks back Derby's Carlton Morris just outside the box down the left.

The defender is cautioned by referee Ben Toner.

It's a decent set-piece opportunity which Norwich deal with.

Morris will be encouraged by that though.

    Femi Azeez (9 mins)

    You know who...

Thierno Ballo forced Stoke keeper Viktor Johansson into two superb saves early into this game but there was nothing the Swede could do when Ballo swung a pretty looking cross into a rising Femi Azeez.

    That's Millwall's 6,000th league goal. History maker.

  4. 'Both sides are going for it'published at 19:54 BST 21 October

    Millwall 0-0 Stoke

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

This game is end to end, both teams are going for it and neither have been negative so far.

Ipswich get a first look at goal this evening and it's Ivan Azon, looking for his first Town goal, who is denied by Thomas Kaminski.

    Liam Millar (6 mins)

Not a bad way to mark your first appearance in the starting XI this season.

Liam Millar has been battling back from an anterior cruciate ligament tear for close to a year but all his hard work to get back on the pitch is rewarded after sizzling a ball into the top corner.

    Not missed a beat.

  7. 'Warning signs for Derby'published at 19:51 BST 21 October

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

Two terrific point-blank saves from Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in the opening two minutes.

The warning signs are there. Well done to Zetterstrom.

We need calm men to get possession of the football.

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

What a chance for Norwich inside the opening three minutes.

The ball drops to Liam Gibbs in the Derby box and his shot is brilliantly kept out by Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.

The home goalkeeper then denies Josh Sargent before Oscar Schwartau blazes an effort into the side netting.

    Positive stuff from the Canaries.

  9. 'A real test for Pompey'published at 19:49 BST 21 October

    Portsmouth 0-0 Coventry City

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at Fratton Park

The earlier wet and windy conditions has now faded.

Fratton Park is packed out to watch this big clash between John Mousinho's Portsmouth side and Frank Lampard's league leading Coventry.

Over the past couple of years Portsmouth have been good against big teams at home, this one though you have to say is a real test for them.

  10. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 21 October

    Hull 0-0 Leicester

Cody Drameh makes the starting XI for Hull as captain Lewie Coyle recovers from his ankle injury but that's perhaps not the biggest news from the Tigers team sheet.

It looks like Oli McBurnie's, the side's top scorer, knee problem hasn't been resolved and he misses out on today's match.

In better news, Liam Millar's return to fitness means he gets his first start of the season.

  11. Postpublished at 19:48 BST 21 October

    Derby 0-0 Norwich

There's no Craig Forsyth for Derby tonight while Andreas Weimann has dropped to the bench.

Callum Elder and Patrick Agyemang have stepped up to start.

Norwich boss Liam Manning has made three changes with Liam Gibbs, Mirko Topic and Jovon Makama coming in for Emiliano Marcondes, Matej Jurasek and Jeffrey Schlupp who are among the substitutes.

  12. Postpublished at 19:48 BST 21 October

    Portsmouth 0-0 Coventry

Josh Eccles returns to the bench for Coventry City tonight.

He's joined by the league's top goal scorer Haji Wright, enjoying some rest.

Don't worry though Sky Blues fans, the Championship's second highest scorer Brandon Thomas-Asante will be starting from the off.

As for Pompey, Zak Swanson is named in the starting XI after three matches stuck on the bench.

    Blackburn 0-0 Sheff Utd

Blackburn have made one change from the side beaten at Coventry at the weekend with Dion De Neve replacing the benched Ryan Hedges.

Tyrese Campbell and Louie Barry drop to the bench for Sheffield United with Tom Cannon and Danny Ings starting.

  14. Postpublished at 19:47 BST 21 October

    Millwall 0-0 Stoke

Millwall's points tally may be looking healthy but their injury list is anything but.

Massimo Luongo is the latest to join those on the side lines, while the squad also misses an ill Billy Mitchell and Macaulay Langstaff, who has unfortunate case of concussion.

Meanwhile, Mark Robins has made four changes to his Stoke City squad that sees Steven Nzonzi making his first start of the season since he re-joined the side this summer.

There is also a game apiece in League One and League Two this evening.

Reading host Northampton in League One at 20:00 BST, and Swindon against Notts County has just got under way in League Two.

A win would take Swindon to the top of the table.

  16. Postpublished at 19:46 BST 21 October

    Ipswich 0-0 Charlton

Ipswich have made seven changes to their side with midfielder Azor Matusiwa suspended.

Dropping to the bench are Cedric Kipre, Darnell Furlong, Jaden Philogene, Sam Szmodics, Sindre Walle Egeli and George Hirst.

Into the side come Ashley Young, Jacob Greaves, Marcelino Nunez, Kasey McAteer, Chuba Akpom, Jack Clarke and Ivan Azon.

Reece Burke and Tyreece Campbell drop to the bench for Charlton with Kayne Ramsay and Isaac Olaofe starting.

    Championship table

There is a big chance for Coventry and Stoke to push themselves into pole positions tonight with second-placed Middlesbrough not in action until Wednesday.

Victory at Portsmouth would take the Sky Blues four points clear while the Potters can jump into second with a win at Millwall who themselves could finish the evening third - tight isn't it?

At the bottom look no further than Blackburn against Sheffield United and Derby at home to Norwich for drama of the wrong kind.

  19. City up there again, Saints looking for winspublished at 19:42 BST 21 October

Bristol City v Southampton (20:00 BST)

Last season's surprise play-off contenders, Bristol City, may have changed manager over the summer but they've carried on their decent league form.

Saturday's 1-0 victory at old boss Liam Manning's Norwich took them up to seventh and they could finish the evening as high as third.

Southampton are the division's draw specialists, having taken a point from six of their 10 league matches under Will Still.

The pressure is on early doors, but three points at Ashton Gate would go some way to easing that in such a tight league table.

    Preston v Birmingham (19:45 BST)

    Milutin OsmajicImage source, Shutterstock

Going along nicely v haven't really got going.

No-one was tipping Preston for the start they have had and yes, they lost on Saturday but previous to that was a five-game unbeaten run and they are yet to lose at home this season.

"The results are showing this season in particular, how close the league is, the league table is showing that," said Preston boss Paul Heckingbottom.

Four points separate Preston in eighth and Birmingham in 17th but Blues have not kicked-off their return to the Championship how they were expected to.

One win from their past seven outings and a four-game winless run leaves them with much to prove.

It won't get any easier tonight.
