Summary

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Low-key start to the second period, it must be said. Very stop-start.

Carlos Corberan is crouched incredibly low in his technical area like a child on the edge of a swimming pool too nervous to dive in stood up. Similar look on his face too.

On just his second City start Mason Burstow tests Alex Palmer with a low drive to his left from distance, which won't help Corberan's mood.

A positive run straight away from Anthony Musaba gets him into the box into a shooting position, but Femi Seriki gets back to make a vital tackle and send the ball out for a corner.

Positive from Musaba, but great stuff from Seriki. The Blades fans and manager will love that.

Former Sheffield United defender on BBC Radio Sheffield

Tyrese Campbell will be a bit frustrated that's he's not finished the game.

He's been the hero with the goal and we could have done with him out there.

There's a lot to be said for being a striker.

Blades frontman Tyrese Campbell must have barely had 10 touches in the first half but, buoyed by his well-taken goal, he buzzed around and geed up the crowd at every opportunity since the break.

His work for the day is done now. He's just under 20 minutes off being a Steel City derby day hero.

The newcomers are teenage forward Ryan One and Sam McCallum.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

The Courteneers classic Not 19 Forever was played on the PA at the MKM at the end of half-time... it wasn't written about Hull City's 2024-25 campaign, I am sure, however it might be prescient today because the Tigers currently lie 19th in the Championship and need an equaliser to move up the table.

Can City keep the momentum going in this second half or will the Baggies hold on for their first win in nine?

    Don't go anywhere...

  8. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

A second Blades goal feels much more likely. A teasing ball into the box from Gustavo Hamer nearly reaches Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, but a desperate Wednesday boot gets there first.

Hamer does have that ability at Championship level to make things happen.

  9. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

That little bit of quality from Gustavo Hamer and Callum O'Hare in setting up Tyrese Campbell has completely changed the aspect of this match.

It feels like Wednesday have it all to do now.

If Sheffield Wednesday are going to take anything from today's game they are going to have to do something no visiting team has done here at Bramall Lane since 17 August.

    Score.

The Blades have kept five successive clean sheets here and nine in 14 Championship games so far this season.

  12. 'Goal will give Hull a lift'published at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

HT: Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Russ Wilcox
Former Scunthorpe manager on BBC Radio Humberside

That goal will have given Hull a huge lift. I think 2-1 flatters West Brom.

I'm really positive about the second half now.

If Hull can tweak a few bits and be a bit more aggressive on the ball the fans will pick that up.

  13. Postpublished at 62 mins

A very positive start from Djeidi Gassama as the Frenchman takes aim from 20 yards and his deflected effort has Michael Cooper worried for a second diving across his goal.

It is given as a goal-kick though.

It counts as one of Wednesday's most threatening moments all game.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

    Here are the Owls changes.

Michael Smith and Djeidi Gassama are the men tasked with making an impact.

Marvin Johnson and Svante Ingelsson see their numbers come up and head off.

Sheffield Wednesday have been rocked back by both the goal and the manner in which their opponents have started.

Changes of theirs look imminent to try to come up with a response.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

We only played one of those three minutes for some reason...

When Karlan Grant and Josh Maja struck twice in the space of five minutes early on you feared for Hull City, however they have stuck to their task and Joao Pedro's fine header five minutes before the break has teed this one up nicely at the break.

City were guilty of some more suspect defending as they fell behind to Grant's deflected strike, and though Xavier Simons rattled the underside of the bar with the deficit at only one, Maja was left unmarked to nod the second.

Second half should be a corker...

A special moment for Tyrese Campbell to score in this Steel City derby.

Remember, his dad, the late Kevin, scored a winner for Everton at Anfield in the Merseyside derby in 1999.

    Now we're talking.

The home team have come out at 100 miles an hour this half and Wednesday are having to hang on now.

It feels like a totally different match to the first 45 minutes.

  19. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

It's Hull on the front foot as the Baggies long for the sanctuary of the dressing room and an orange slice.

21 of the 22 players are in the Albion half with the visitors in two solid banks of five at present...

    Three minutes will be added.

  20. 'Tough moments for Wednesday now'published at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    John Pearson
Former Sheffield Wednesday forward on BBC Radio Sheffield

From a Sheffield United point of view it's a great goal. Let's see how Wednesday react now.

United are throwing everything at us now and why wouldn't they. They're trying to add to that goal.

This is tough moments for us.
