The corner is whipped in and Ollie Watkins makes his run towards the front post and heads it over the top. That was a decent chance to double his tally for the night.

Ollie Watkins steals the ball in front of Lewis Dunk and shoots from a tight angle but the Brighton captain does well to divert it behind for a corner.

Ruben Amorim has his face in his hands as he watches Casemiro sky a long-range effort into the stands. Woeful.

There are only three players that can probably say that they have done ok since Ruben Amorim arrived. Amad, Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui. They have not been amazing don't get me wrong but they have taken the right approach.

Yasin Ayari is the first Brighton player in the book. It wasn't the best of challenges on Youri Tielemans.

An entertaining half in Ipswich and they lead by a goal at the break.

That Joshua Zirkzee substitution seems to have given Manchester United a little bit of life.

It is embarrassing for any player to be replaced during the first-half.

If there is any consolation for Joshua Zirkzee - and there won't be much - Ruben Amorim could have picked any from almost all Manchester United's team to come off then.

Amorim is not responsible for this squad. But he is responsible for the players he picks - and what Manchester United's fans have witnessed this evening has been truly terrible.
