The ball hardly travels as it's huddled over by both home and away shirts alike until Ollie Rathbone eventually takes a shot, lifting it above the net for a goal kick.

Worrying times for the home fans, who are watching with crossed arms and concerned faces.

It's still goalless in south London, but Salford's Jamie Jones has been the busier keeper so far. Jake Reeves' long-range effort brings a routine save and Jones then does well to deny Issac Ogundere after a swift Wimbledon attack down the right.

A long ball eventually reaches Exeter's Ilmari Niskanen but not for the first time already today, he fires a left-foot shot way too high and wide of Nathan Bishop's goal.

Down the other end, Cambridge get themselves a corner which James Brophy swings in left-footed but Exeter deal with it comfortably.

Grimsby have had to absorb some pressure but look a threat themselves. Rovers keeper Ted Sharman-Lowe is called into action to keep out George McEachran's volley at the near post.

Grimsby need to tighten up when defending as there are just some gaps appearing.

Overall it has been very even, a lively game for sure.

Doncaster are continuing to probe, with Owen Bailey having a go from outside the box. It's easy for keeper Jordan Wright though.

On the counter, the hosts break and Elias Kachunga gets in behind on the left.

His ball across, however, is behind Ryan Loft and despite a rather hopeful shout for a penalty from the home crowd, the referee correctly waves away the appeal.

It's not really got started at Sixfields for either side.

Northampton Town have had some sloppy moments but even when the Cobblers give away a poor pass, Wrexham pounce on it only to take it back into their own final third.

Another excellent pass from Caleb Watts gets Ilmari Niskanen in behind for Exeter but the Finn is unable to pick out anyone in the middle with his low ball across the box.

Watts has started this one nicely.

Justin Obikwu looks like a bit of a handful for Grimsby, he is a tall lad with pace and Doncaster must keep an eye out for him, he will need to be double marked for sure.

The visitors have had more of the ball since a lively start by Doncaster. No clear-cut chances yet for the Mariners but they look dangerous, especially on the flanks.

Exeter's Vincent Harper goes flying into a strong challenge on Dan Barton on the touchline but only a throw-in is given.

From that Cambridge throw-in, the hosts have their first chance but the ball doesn't quite fall for Michael Morrison and Exeter clear their lines.

Lively start to this one.

Wrexham are taking the bulk of the possession in these early stages and it seems that they are just feeling their way around at the moment.

But not getting a lot of time on the ball is making Cobblers forward Cameron McGeehan a little impatient.

He sees no other Northampton Town shirts to pass through to and goes for the first shot of the match, but it's far from its target and maybe he would have been better off trying to work round the Wrexham defence.
