Man City have found that new level of confidence after that goal and now Arsenal look like the team that are going to have to dig deep.

The momentum has well and truly shifted in this game.

Ooh. Vivianne Miedema almost makes it three for Manchester City.

She received the ball on the edge of the box and fools the Arsenal defence by cutting in before taking her strike.

It's straight down the middle, though, and Manuela Zinsberger gets her hands on it comfortably.

Arsenal's disallowed goal is why we need VAR in the women's game. The stakes are very high nowadays and we need these things to be looked at in the same way as the men's game.

Jess Park had every right to shoot from there but Arsenal switched off, I don't think they expected her to take it on. She fires it at goal, Frida Maanum is breathing down her neck trying to close it down, but she gets the shot away and crashes the ball in off the bar.

I think Park has surprised herself there judging by the celerbration.

Most people in the stadium didn't realise that had gone in from Jess Park.

It's a brilliant strike and Manuela Zinsberger could only stand and watch as it bounced awkwardly off the underside of the crossbar and over the line.

It was so good that Gareth Taylor has come down from his seat in the stands to chat with his coaches in the dugout.

  8. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 1-2 Man Citypublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 22 September

    Jess Park

    What a goal!

Arsenal clear the cross in from Lauren Hemp but the ball falls to Jess Park who takes it on the half-volley before it ricochets in off the underside of the crossbar.

    Lovely stuff.

It's a huge game to stamp your authority on.

I hope it doesn't end in a draw. A very good crowd at the Emirates promoting the women's game.

  10. 'City midfield movement has to be better'published at 13:44 British Summer Time 22 September

    Arsenal 1-1 Man City

    Jenna Schillaci

The movement has got to be better from Manchester City in that midfield area because at the moment they are not helping their defenders much.

Arsenal are set up to be very disciplined, compact and organised, and you need that movement in the middle to break through them.

  11. Postpublished at 13:44 British Summer Time 22 September

Alanna Kennedy goes for the ball over the top. It's a clever little move, but there's too much pace on it for Khadija Shaw and it ends up in the safe hands of Manuela Zinsberger.

Laia Codina has been pretty solid this afternoon, particularly her defending one on one against Bunny Shaw. Every time the ball is played into Shaw, Codina is on her back, very tight to her, and that is why we have not seen as much from Shaw so far today.

Arsenal have started strong in this second half . It was a fluid move in attack and Mariona Caldentey produces a wonderful disguised pass to Caitlin Foord in the middle, just a shame that she had just strayed offside.
