Got to applaud Bristol City's response since going two goals down.

They come forward down the left wing and Anis Mehmeti makes the run. He finishes really well but the flag goes up.

No debate there, he's miles off.

Oxford have been poor defensively but have had a couple of moments in attack. Stanley Mills in particular is looking lively and trying to get in behind.

You'd expect more from Manchester United in these opening stages against a League Two team. No real flow so far.

Mansfield send it long down the right of the pitch and Mark Travers' clearance isn't the best. It's crossed back into the box and Will Evans heads on target.

I think that might have been heading in. Onana did well, backpedalling he just got his left hand and flicked the ball over the bar.

Huge noise as Grimsby win a corner. The delivery is aimed towards the far post and Andre Onana is concerned enough to push it over.

Darragh Burns drives in the second corner but it is headed away.

Set-pieces will be something Grimsby will be targeting to unsettle Manchester United.

Now that is a stunning save from Liam Roberts to keep Mansfield level.

Everton work it well in the midfield and Charly Alcaraz hits it in space about 20 yards out and Roberts stretches his right arm as much as he can and tips around the post.

Yu Hirakawa looks to whip a dangerous ball into the box but it's sent behind for a Bristol City corner.

Rob Dickie gets up well but heads wide of the post.

A chance for Grimsby as a ball is sent into the box for Cameron Gardner and he rises to flick a header goalwards, but it is straight at Andre Onana.

At the other end, Matheus Cunha sees a header blocked.

Vitalii Mykolenko and Jack Grealish are causing problems down the Everton left in the opening stages here.

Mykolenko is looking to overlap every time Grealish comes inside with the ball.

Grimsby are being really brave. They started the season so well but playing up against a Premier League outfit, particularly one the size of Manchester United, they have been really brave. Lots of crosses into the box, Khouri and Green getting up in support of Gardner. It is a bit uncomfortable for United in these earlier stages.

Amad Diallo is clattered into by Cameron McJannett, the home fans love the robustness of the challenge but it was late.

There are just over 6,000 Mansfield fans here and they're making it a great atmosphere as their side come forward and Kyle Knoyle forces a block out of Jack Grealish.

It's pretty noisy in here.

The Grimsby fans are seizing on anything that threatens the visitors box as an excuse to turn up the volume and it is the same when a Manchester United attacking move breaks down at the other end.

Ruben Amorim is stood on the touchline trying to get a message across but communication is not easy.

Grimsby are keeping up this bright start against their Premier League opponents, who are playing some sloppy passes at times.
