Pleased with Kevin Nisbet returning to Aberdeen. Hit form second half of last season and will fit straight into the team and dressing room. Still need another striker and some grit in midfield.
Stuart
Nisbet is a good signing. Unfortunately the problems are way deeper than that as we create nothing in attack and leak too many goals. We really should have a squad we can build on and I hope this gives us the confidence to move forward.
Kristian
The only thing that concerns me about Nisbet is that he missed much of pre-season with an injury. It could mean he's slightly behind behind in terms of match fitness. A tremendous signing though, should it be done. Now bring in Lyndon Dykes too.
Scott
Nisbet is a proven goalscorer in this league, but unless Jimmy Thelin changes the way we play we'll struggle to see the best from him.

Kevin Nisbet will return to Aberdeen on a three-year deal.
The fee is in the region of £300,000.

Championship Ross County say there will be no ins or outs with them tonight.
What makes this pretty significant is that means star striker Ronan Hale will be staying with the managerless Staggies beyond the closure of the window.
Hale netted 18 times for County last term and has got six goals to his name already this time round.
They will be hoping he can fire them up the Championship table over the coming months as they look to bounce straight back to the Premiership.

Could Ryan Jack be heading back to Scotland?
Dundee are keen to bring the former Aberdeen and Rangers midfielder to Dens Park.
Jack is currently at Turkish second-tier side Esenler Erokspor, who say the Scotland international will stay with them.
However, a deal is not necessarily dead. This is one that could run beyond tonight's transfer deadline.
We got any Dundee fans in the place?
A wee update for you lot incoming...
Makenzie Kirk has left St Johnstone to sign for English Championship club Portsmouth.
Saints say the Northern Ireland Under-21 international has left for an undisclosed fee after joining from Hearts last summer.
The 21-year-old made 50 appearances and scored 14 times for the Perth side.

Hearts' Musa Drammeh looks like he is on his way to a Portuguese outfit, while there is interest in fellow forward Kenneth Vargas from a Spanish second-tier club.
Defender Miles Welch-Hayes has left Livingston after both parties agreed to a "mutual termination" of his deal.
The 28-year-old has been with David Martindale's side since 2023 and spent time on loan at Dunfermline and Maidenhead United.

The majority of players Russell Martin and the team have brought in look excellent signings, Bojan Miovski being the eye-catcher of them all. Could do with another left-back and centre-back of great quality to slot into the first team. Don’t think Joe Rothwell will cut it at Rangers, so you can add another centre-mid if Nico Raskin ends up going. No prospects or project players. Some solid experienced players that we can rely on week in, week out.
Curtis
We need to keep Cyriel Dessers.
Carol
A centre-half, preferably two, is a must. Nasser Djiga looked miles off the pace on Sunday, another poor Martin signing. John Souttar needs a solid partner in central defence.
James
If Dessers is gone (I for one will be sad to see him go) then we need another striker, a solid centre-back, and an upgrade at left-back. The best transfer business Martin can do is to keep the players who were here before he arrived - quite frankly, they're significantly better than who he has brought in.

Kilmarnock manager Stuart Kettlewell joined me on BBC Radio Scotland to talk transfer deadline day from a manager's point of view.
He said Kilmarnock are tentatively trying to bring in a player on loan. However, at this stage, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
In terms of losing players on deadline day, Kettlewell says it's a manager's worst nightmare and joked that, after he's spoken to me, he was blocking all incoming phone calls!
Still a good few hours to go yet, Stuart

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin appears set to be spending this deadline day with his feet up, watching on as the scramble for players continues elsewhere.
The club has been very busy this summer, bringing in 14 new arrivals.
On the evidence of what we have seen so far, they appear to have recruited well.
Satisfied with the work that has been done, United are unlikely to do any more business.
What do you make of that, Dons fans?
Is the return of Kevin Nisbet the answer to your attacking problems?

Aberdeen are hoping to complete a deal to sign Kevin Nisbet, who spent last season on loan at Pittodrie, from Millwall.
The deal is being finalised.

Centre-half Stephen Welsh could be making the short move from Celtic to Motherwell, with reports stating the 25-year-old could be on his way out of Parkhead.
No sure about that, Jimmy.
Heard he goes missing in big games.
...sorry.
