Norwich manager Johannes Hoff Thorup speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk:

"Based on the game, it is fair we didn't win it. There were many things defensively we didn't get right.

"It comes down to preparation and being ready for what your opponent brings to a game and we didn't match that at all.

"I had the feeling that every time they brought the ball forward it could be a chance or a goal against.

"We have to look at that; it is definitely a weakness. It is simple situations we struggle to deal with.

"I hate when you have to talk about desire in a football player but I think there was a difference in that today. Portsmouth had more at stake and was willing to throw their bodies in front of the ball.

"I don't think we matched them and that was one of the messages at half time. It seemed like the simple things were difficult today.

Oxford make two changes from the 1-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday last time out, Przemyslaw Placheta and Mark Harris are in for Stan Mills, son of former Leeds right-back Danny, and Tom Bradshaw.

“You can’t park (the disappointment). You can’t forget it. That’s got to be what drives you and makes sure you make the changes.

“I’ve just been having a conversation with Peter (Ridsdale). I don’t need to wait until tomorrow to calm down. Why would I want to do that?

“It’s obvious what needs to happen. Change or be changed. That’s it. How much is possible won’t be determined by me."

Hull City

Hull City defender John Egan speaking to BBC Sport:

"It's hard to speak because it's so raw. They were on top first half and then obviously the penalty in the second half has decided the game. The ball has hit my face so I don't know how they've given the penalty.

"I don't think the ref gave it, I think the linesman gave it. I asked him to speak to the linesman because the ball hit my face so he can't be 100% sure. They didn't want to do that. It's a tough one to take.

"To lose a game in that manner is frustrating. It's a tough loss to take. We've three huge games left now, we've got to dust ourselves down and go again."

Portsmouth

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho speaking to BBC Radio Solent:

"It hasn't quite sunk in yet. It was quite a stressful 90 minutes for me.

"Even at 5-2 up with eight minutes to go, I still didn't feel secure, probably because of the position we are in. I am delighted and once it sinks in, I'll be more pleased but we've got to go again tomorrow and make sure we are focussed again for Monday.

"We spoke before the about putting it all together. We've done it in patches in games but not consistent enough. We do deserve to be in the Championship and we've mixed it with every team here.

"The next stage is making sure we do it more often."

So, Sheffield United's win set us up for our final game of the day where Leeds will return to the top of the Championship table with a win at Oxford.

The Whites have recovered from their run of one win in six with successive wins over Middlesbrough and Preston and their Premier League push is firmly back on track now.

They cruised to a 3-0 win over the Yellows in the first meeting between the two sides this season back in December.

That was the final game before Gary Rowett took over and the experienced Championship campaigner has led the U's towards second tier survival.

They've won three of their past five, including a 1-0 success over the Blades, and another shock win tonight would move them eight points clear of the relegation zone with three with three to go.

Defeat for Leeds would also open the door for Sheffield United's top two bid.

So Burnley got the job done.

Sheffield United got the job done.

I think it needed to be a strong, brave performance and we got that.

This win brings Sheffield United into the next few games, it's a big few weeks ahead. It's good to get a clean sheet against a team that's really fighting, too.

They were fantastic goals and ones that came through hard work and a bit of a gamble.

They'll now need to make sure they're on it against Burnley on Monday night.

As we tick into added time Cardiff hit the big man from out wide for the first real time and Yousef Salech heads down and straight at Michael Cooper.

Rubin Colwill, who only just came on for Cardiff, limps off. It never rains [it has consistently rained all second half].
