  1. goal

GOAL: West Brom 4-0 Portsmouthpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Grady Diangana (44 mins)

What an afternoon West Brom are having!

What an afternoon Portsmouth are having!

The Baggies last scored four at home in January last year and Tony Mowbray has only needed 45 minutes to get Albion purring at The Hawthorns again.

Grady Diangana gets his second of the afternoon and West Brom are flying back into the play-offs as things stand.

He is not offside as he races onto Mason Holgate's long ball and beats Schmid to make it four.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

Another crucial save as Conor Hazard keeps out Dennis Cirkin's head from fellow full-back Trai Hume's cross.

The Black Cats are upping the pressure in search of that first goal.

  3. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 1-1 Blackburn Rovers

Bristol City with a chance to get back in front almost straight away but Anis Mehmeti's close range effort is saved.

It's a really good stop from Aynsley Pears.

  4. 'Derby having the better of it'published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

The quality of this match has deteriorated as the first half as worn on, but Derby have undoubtedly had the better of it.

Cardiff keeper Jak Alnwick has had a busy afternoon so far, making saves to deny Jerry Yates, Kenzo Goudmijn, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Eiran Cashin so far.

  5. goal

GOAL Bristol City 1-1 Blackburnpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Andreas Weimann (40 mins)

Back in the starting line-up, back in the goals.

Makhtar Gueye heads a Tyrhys Dolan cross against the post and Andreas Weimann, against his former club, follows up to tuck in the rebound.

  6. goal

GOAL: West Brom 3-0 Portsmouthpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Jed Wallace (37 mins)

Three goals in 12 minutes and the Baggies are flying!

Jed Wallace, who is back in as captain against the club where he came through the ranks, makes it three with his first goal of the season.

Wallace starts the move in midfield and makes his way to the Portsmouth box to receive a pass from Grady Diangana and slot past Nicolas Schmid.

  7. 'They need that breakthrough'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

    Nick Barnes
    BBC Newcastle's Sunderland commentator

Sunderland can't find a way through at the moment.

They've had a few chances and they're plugging away but nothing is working.

They just need that breakthrough, then Plymouth will have to change it.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

Sunderland captain Dan Neil, a man in demand for Premier League clubs, nearly breaks the deadlock for his hometown club.

He takes aim from 25 yards with a half-volley that is going for the top corner, but Conor Hazard does brilliantly to keep it out.

  9. goal

GOAL: Coventry 1-0 Watfordpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Victor Torp (32 mins)

    And it has been coming.

Jack Rudoni piles forward down the right flank and squares a perfect ball which sails over Brandon Thomas-Asante's near post run and drops nicely for Victor Torp to turn in deftly from six yards out.

It is the Danish striker's third of the campaign and is a deserved reward for not only his nice movement in the box but Coventry's dominance.

Not much of a smile from Frank Lampard on the sidelines who takes a swig of his water and screws the top back on.

  10. goal

GOAL: West Brom 2-0 Portsmouthpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Grady Diangana (32 mins)

West Brom celebrate goalImage source, Rex Features

Oh, welcome back Tony Mowbray's West Brom!

This is what Albions fans remembered from the first time - front foot football and it produces a second goal.

Good wing play from Mikey Johnston down the left who gets past his man, and sees his effort saved by Nicolas Schmid but Grady Diangana is on the spot to make it two.

  11. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    QPR 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday have pitched their tents, broken out the marshmallows and are well and truly camped in their own half at the moment with QPR dominating.

Marti Cifuentes's side have enjoyed over 70% of the ball in the first half hour but, as yet, have nothing to show for their efforts.

  12. goal

GOAL: Preston 1-0 Middlesbroughpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Stefan Thordarson (28 mins)

We said earlier there is nothing Preston like more than causing upsets in this division and they are doing it again.

It's a sweet moment for Stefan Thordarson as the Icelander grabs his first goal in English football to put North End ahead.

A fine goal as well, as Thordarson drives into the box, cuts it back onto his right and shoots past Boro goalkeeper Tom Glover.

  13. 'It's a better tempo'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

We're getting a lot more success down that left-hand side with Le Fee.

It's a better tempo from Sunderland now, they just need to do things a bit quicker.

  14. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 1-0 Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn are striving to get level here and Tyrhys Dolan gets on the end of a Ryan Hedges cross but heads over the bar.

  15. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Cardiff City 0-0 Derby County

Lars-Jorgen Salvesen is making his first start in a Derby shirt and he gets a shot away but Jak Alnwick is solidly behind it.

  16. goal

GOAL: West Brom 1-0 Portsmouthpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Alex Mowatt (25 mins)

    Boing, boing Baggies!

A first goal to celebrate in Tony Mowbray's second spell in charge and it's Alex Mowatt who's got it.

The midfield man has a crack from distance and gets enough on it to beat Nicolas Schmid, despite the goalkeeper getting a hand to it.

  17. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 1-0 Blackburn Rovers

A third yellow card for Blackburn inside the opening 25 minutes.

Makhtar Gueye is the latest man to earn referee Matthew Donohue's ire for a foul.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Coventry 0-0 Watford

Watford's Edo Kayembe is in the book after clipping Jack Rudoni's heels as he advanced towards the area. No argument about that, even though there was some of course.

  19. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Cardiff City 0-0 Derby County

Kenzo Goudmijn's shot for Derby is saved by Jak Alnwick who seems to have injured himself in the process.

A little bit of treatment for the home goalkeeper and he's good to go - we carry on.

  20. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Coventry 0-0 Watford

This has been a bright opening 15 minutes from Frank Lampard's Coventry. They have bossed the opening stages of this contest and got five shots away already.

With a little more luck they could have been a couple up.
