    West Brom 0-0 Portsmouth

West Brom have drawn seven of their 13 home games this season, scoring only 14 goals, so one thing Tony Mowbray will be encouraging is to take the handbrake off.

Mogga has found room for John Swift and Jed Wallace in his team today and Swift tries his luck but Pompey goalkeeper Nicolas Schmid is equal to it.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 1-0 Blackburn Rovers

A goal down and now two of Blackburn's centre-halves are walking the tightrope on yellow cards.

Dion Sanderson joins Danny Batth on the naughty list.

  3. Postpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 1-0 Blackburn Rovers

Scott Twine has the taste for this how.

He's already got his fifth league goal of the season and now he sends a shot crashing wide of the target from distance.

  4. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Preston 0-0 Middlesbrough

Despite the loss of Emmanuel Latte Lath, Boro force Preston goalkeeper Andy Woodman into a save as he denies Delano Burgzorg and then Hayden Hackney's follow-up is blocked.

Of the three new boys for the visitors, Ryan Giles is a sub, but Morgan Whittaker and George Edmundson are not involved.

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

A brisk start to this game has come to a halt as Derby midfielder Ebou Adams receives treatment after making a goal-saving tackle to deny Chris Willock.

It would be a shame if Adams' match was cut short because his time here as a Cardiff player was ruined by injury.

Fortunately, it looks like he might be able to continue.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Cardiff City 0-0 Derby County

Jerry Yates has already seen a shot saved, now he has the ball in the net but the flag is up for offside.

Encouragement for the visitors though who have lost their past five in the league.

  7. 'We have to be ruthless'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

One thing we've got to do is be ruthless today.

Plymouth are frustrating Sunderland so far, we can't afford to be sloppy.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Preston 0-0 Middlesbrough

Far from ideal for the visitors as striker Emmanuel Latte Lath has to go off injured.

He went down and needed treatment, he tried to carry on but he cannot continue and Marcus Forss is sent on to replace him.

  9. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

Sunderland have had all the ball, but it's Black Cats goalkeeper Anthony Patterson who is first called to action.

Plymouth captain Adam Randell tries his luck from all of 40 yards after the goalkeeper knocks the ball to him, but he recovers to make the save.

That would have upset the script.

  10. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Coventry 0-0 Watford

First big chance of the match falls to Coventry's Brandon Thomas-Asante, charging in from the right flank, the forward fires a shot towards the far post.

It needs a decent tip around the post from Jonathan Bond to keep the scoresheet all square at 0-0.

    From the free-kick.

Danny Batth's misdemeanour is punished by Scott Twine.

He knows a thing or two about a set piece and sends his free-kick beyond Aynsley Pears.

    A brilliant strike.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 0-0 Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn's Danny Batth stops the progress of Sinclair Armstrong and is cautioned - he's also conceded a dangerous free-kick...

  13. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Bristol City 0-0 Blackburn Rovers

Tyrhys Dolan has the first proper sight of goal in this one.

He does well to cut inside and unleash a shot but it's over the bar.

  14. 88% of the ballpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Sunderland 0-0 Plymouth

Are you kidding me? Albeit very early stages, but Sunderland are enjoying 88% possession!

Some Plymouth players are struggling to touch the ball.

  15. Postpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Cardiff City 0-0 Derby County

These sides aren't standing on ceremony and now it's the turn of Derby goalkeeper Jacob Zetterstrom to keep his side level.

Joe Ralls goes for the top corner and Zetterstrom's fingertips do the job to keep it 0-0.

  16. 'Great noise from Owls fans'published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    QPR 0-0 Sheff Wed

    Richard Wolfenden
    Final Score

Great noise from the Wednesday fans in the away end here at Loftus Road as the all-orange Owls look to find their first win in three.

QPR though, have won four from four in 2025 so far... it's not going to be easy for them.

  17. Pilgrims make five changespublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

Sunderland have made two changes to their side with Patrick Roberts swapping places with match-winner Eliezer Mayenda and Abdul Samed in for youngster Chris Rigg.

It's a first Championship start for the Ghana midfielder.

A bright start from Derby and leading scorer Jerry Yates tests Jak Alnwick in the home goal and he makes the save.

  19. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    West Brom 0-0 Portsmouth

Boosted by those two wins at Fratton Park, it's a positive start from Portsmouth up at The Hawthorns.

Colby Bishop flicks the ball into the path of midfielder Andre Dozzell and he brings a save out of Baggies goalkeeper Alex Palmer.

  20. Postpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January
