    Walsall 0-0 Harrogate

Walsall are desperate for a win today and make four changes - two enforced.

Donervon Daniels and Charlie Lakin are among the substitutes but Oisin McEntee and Brandon Comley are missing.

In as starters are George Hall, Harry Williams, David Okagbue and Ryan Stirk.

Harrogate have made a couple of changes to their side with Warren Burrell out and Tom Cursons dropping to the bench.

In come James Daley and Bryant Bilongo.

  2. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 18 April

    Tranmere 0-0 Doncaster

Tranmere are all but safe and boss Andy Crosby brings in Cameron Norman and Kieron Morris for the benched Chris Merrie and Connor Jennings

Doncaster make two changes from the team which drew at Salford on Tuesday.

Charlie Crew and Harry Clifton return as starters with James Maxwell and Patrick Kelly having to settle for places on the bench.

  3. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 18 April

    Carlisle 0-0 Port Vale

Perhaps not surprisingly, Carlisle boss Mark Hughes has gone with the same side which won 2-0 at Morecambe last Saturday.

Meanwhile Port Vale roll out the same starting line-up which hammered Bromley 5-0 six days ago.

  5. Saddlers seek solace against travel-sick Townpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 18 April

Walsall v Harrogate Town (15:00 BST)

    Bescot Stadium

Winless in 10 games and having seen a seemingly unassailable lead at the top of League Two disappear, Walsall are in desperate need of solace right now.

Somehow, despite taking just 14 points out of the past 51 available, the Saddlers are clinging on to the third, and final, automatic promotion spot.

And, on paper, they couldn't ask for a more favourable visiting team against which to end that barren sequence dating back almost two months to 22 February.

Harrogate, 20th in the table have not scored in 540 minutes - nine hours - on their travels, firing blanks in each of their past six away trips. And they've taken just six points from the past 39 available away (W1 D3 L9).

  6. Recently relegated Shrews host Wiganpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 18 April

    Shrewsbury v Wigan (15:00 GMT)

Unfortunately for Shrewsbury, they are already down after Burton's draw at Exeter which finished just moments ago.

It's been a thoroughly dismal campaign for Salop who have been rooted to the foot of the division for most of the season and Michael Appleton's have the dreaded R next to their name in the league table.

Today, they host a Wigan outfit who currently sit 17th and have slipped to just five points above the dreaded dotted line themselves, with just one more win probably guaranteeing their third-tier status for another term.

New boss Ryan Lowe is yet to win a match as Latics boss, following five matches in charge, and will undoubtedly be up for this one as his side seek a relaxing final three game run-in.

  7. Crunch time for Terriers and U'spublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 18 April

Huddersfield Town v Cambridge United (15:00 GMT)

Cambridge United take the trip to Yorkshire today knowing chances of staying in League One remain slim at best.

If Neil Harris' men lose at the Terriers and Bristol Rovers win at Wrexham, they will be relegated at 17:00 today.

Huddersfield are themselves in need of the points if they are going to sneak into the play-off picture as they currently sit ninth and five points outside the top six with just four to play.

They will have to shake off their woeful performance during last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Cambridge's relegation rivals Burton Albion in which interim boss Jon Worthington called "not acceptable in any shape or form."

It's crunch time for both sides at the John Smiths's Stadium this afternoon.

  8. Red Dragons and Gas both under pressurepublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 18 April

Wrexham v Bristol Rovers (15:00 BST)

They don’t come much bigger than this at both ends of the League One table.

Wrexham currently occupy second spot and need a win to guarantee they end the day in the automatic promotion places.

Bristol Rovers are in the relegation zone and one point adrift of safety after Burton Albion’s draw at Exeter.

The Red Dragons have lost just one of their previous 11 (W7 D3), while the Gas are on a dismal run of six straight defeats.

    Crunch time in Wales.

  9. SHREWSBURY ARE RELEGATED FROM LEAGUE ONEpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 18 April
    Breaking

Following Burton Albion's draw at Exeter City, Shrewsbury Town have been relegated from League One before their match at home against Wigan at 15:00 today.

Salop's decade long stint in the third-tier has come to a disappointing end now it is mathematically confirmed they are unable to catch the 20th placed Brewers with four matches of the season still remaining.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 18 April

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

A decent point for Burton in their battle to avoid relegation from League One.

The wind and rain made for tough playing conditions at St James Park, with a slightly waterlogged pitch.

Fairly uneventful encounter in truth and it ends goalless.

Albion move one point ahead of Bristol Rovers, now having played the same number of games.

  11. Tykes go for Conorpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 18 April

We have had a managerial appointment in League One today.

Conor Hourihane's Good Friday got that little bit better when he was confirmed as Barnsley boss on a full-time basis.

The former Tykes and Aston Villa forward had been in interim charge at Oakwell since Darrell Clarke was sacked in March.

Hourihane was part of Clarke's backroom staff after retiring from playing in December and has won one of his six games in charge with two draws and three defeats.

"It's pretty emotional, to be honest. I'm really honoured," the former Republic of Ireland international said.

"I had success as captain, and now I want success as a head coach - it's as simple as that."

Barnsley visit Leyton Orient today sitting in eleventh position in League One, 12 points short of the play-off places.

  12. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90+1 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

Four added minutes to play. Four minutes for Shrewsbury's fate to be confirmed...

Salop are going down as it stands, unless Exeter find a late winner.

  13. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

Owen Dodgson opts to swing the Burton free-kick to the back post towards Ryan Sweeney, not for the first time today.

And not for the first time today, it's got too much on it and Sweeney can't keep it alive.

  14. High stakes clash for Trotters and Chairboyspublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 18 April

    Bolton v Wycombe (15:00 BST)

    Aaron CollinsImage source, Rex Features

Bolton welcome Wycombe for one of the biggest games of the day with the Trotters trying to chase down a play-off spot and the Chairboys vying for automatic promotion.

Wanderers have drifted three points outside the top-six spots after two straight defeats and a run of just two wins from their past seven (L5).

Wycombe have won two on the bounce to remain third and just one point behind Wrexham in second.

Mike Dodds’ side could climb above the Red Dragons if they win and the Welshmen fail to do so - a draw might also be enough if Wrexham lose at home to Bristol Rovers. Perfectly poised.

  15. 'I thought it was onside'published at 14:47 British Summer Time 18 April

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

    Aaron Webster
Former Burton Albion defender on BBC Radio Derby

It was a close one, I thought it may have just been onside there actually.

The flag spares Albion's blushes there.

  16. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

A lucky reprieve for Burton who should have defended that free-kick better. And now Mason Bennett brings it away at the other end and is brought down by Exeter's Angus MacDonald.

Free-kick in a decent position for Albion and MacDonald is booked.

  17. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 87 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

Exeter think they have the lead as the free-kick comes in from the left, evades everyone and Andrew Oluwabori sneaks in at the back post in to prod it home before wheeling away in celebration...

But the assistant referee has his flag up and it won't stand!

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 86 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

Burton defender Kgaogelo Chauke slides in and brings down Exeter's Joel Colwill from behind on the edge of the box and it's yellow for the Albion man.

Another position of promise from this free-kick for the Grecians.

  19. What can be decided in League Two today?published at 14:43 British Summer Time 18 April

    #bbcefl

A worried looking Morecambe supporterImage source, Rex Features

Such is the tight nature of the League Two promotion battle nothing can be decided in terms of teams going up today but at the bottom Morecambe will be relegated if they lose at Bromley and Accrington Stanley come away from Salford with three points.

Port Vale, Bradford, Walsall and Doncaster could all be guaranteed at least a play-off spot by five o'clock.

But other than that everything will roll on to Easter Monday regardless of results today - exciting isn't it?

  20. Postpublished at 85 mins

    Exeter 0-0 Burton

Into the final five minutes plus stoppages at St James Park.

Shrewsbury are down as it stands.
