Callum Styles in the thick of it again as he sends in a slow cross for Karlan Grant and Josh Maja, but the former's shot isn't going to unduly trouble Daniel Bachmann.

The Baggies are pushing for an equaliser as we approach the break.

First, nice play sends Karlan Grant down the right and he fires across goal but keeper Daniel Bachmann parries it clear.

Then it's over to Callum Styles who puts a shot just wide of the far post after being slipped in by Grant.

This game is shaping up nicely.

West Brom in the final third have got in behind the Watford backline on five or six occasions.

If they had that little bit more quality we'd be behind.

Luckily for Watford, they haven't quite had the composure to punish us.

The Baggies have plenty of time to turn this around and protect their 12-match unbeaten run.

Mind you, you have to go back seven trips and to November 2007 for the last time they took three points at Vicarage Road.

Albion have defended so well up until this point but they'll be so disappointed to give that goal away.

Albion do look dangerous when Fellows gets it down that right-hand side.

Uros Racic then tries his luck from range but it also flies wide.

Watford then look to counter, but Kwadwo Baah's low cross evades everyone.

He can't have a shot initially, but the ball falls kindly to him in the box and he smashes a shot against the crossbar!

Some big news coming in this afternoon.

Des Buckingham has left his role as head coach of Oxford United, the club has announced.

Buckingham joined the U's in November 2023 and led them to promotion from League One last season.

He departs with Oxford 20th in the Championship and one point above the relegation zone.

It comes following a 3-1 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday, which made it one win in their past 15 games (D6 L8).

It's interesting early on, the left winger Baah for Watford is a giant and Albion have got Callum Styles marking him who isn't the biggest of players.
