  1. 'Great play from Vata'published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    Watford 2-0 West Brom

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

It was a really good instinctive finish and great play from Rocco Vata leading up to it.

West Brom have left themselves more open trying to go forward and Watford have capitalised on it!

Bayo's finish was so good but Vata's skill to chip it over Furlong's head and then put the ball across very quickly, Bayo has a lot of work to do but he does it brilliantly.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

This isn't ideal for Scott Parker either...

Burnley centre-back Maxime Esteve plays a pass and immediately grabs his leg before signalling to the bench that his day is over.

Off he goes and he's replaced by the experienced John Egan.

  3. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

Burnley would've been aiming for a 14th clean sheet of the season today, which in itself is quite remarkable.

That went up in smoke after one minute - and you can't be too surprised where Norwich are concerned.

That's now 66 goals in games involving the Canaries this season - more than any other side. Entertainers.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 53 mins

    Watford 2-0 West Brom

Jayson Molumby becomes the first Albion man into the book after pulling back Giorgi Chakvetadze and stopping the counter.

Another easy decision for the ref.

  5. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

A first shot of the game for Burnley and it's Brighton loanee Jeremy Sarmiento who fires one from distance.

It's straight at Angus Gunn, though, and the Norwich keeper can catch comfortably.

  6. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

Burnley finally settle down with a bit of possession in their own half.

The visitors are riding an early storm here. Can they steady the ship?

  7. CLOSE!published at 7 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

Oh my word... Burnley almost find themselves two down inside seven minutes.

CJ Egan-Riley is put under pressure by Borja Sainz just inside his own half and he launches a backpass without looking.

It runs towards goal but James Trafford is just about able to scamper back, slide and clear it for a corner.

What is going on with the Clarets here?!

  8. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Watford 1-0 West Brom

Watford may have the edge where it counts - on the scoreboard - but it was an even stevens first 45.

Both sides had eight attempts on goal with three apiece on target, with the Baggies edging possession.

  9. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Norwich 1-0 Burnley

Burnley boss Scott Parker looks dumbfounded by that start and so do the Clarets. It's all Norwich in these opening few minutes.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

    Watford 1-0 West Brom

    And we're back under way.

Albion have work to do if they're to avoid a first defeat in 13 matches.

And Watford are on course for an eighth league win in 10 at home this season and to extend their unbeaten home run to 14 league matches.

West Brom have made a change at the break - Callum Styles has done his bit for the day and forward Mikey Johnston is on.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

    Norwich 0-0 Burnley

Off we go at Carrow Road.

Norwich looking to close the gap to the play-off spots. Burnley trying to strengthen their promotion credentials.

  12. Clarets looking for touch of 'quality'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

Burnley are unbeaten in their past seven Championship games (W4 D3) and have lost just once in their previous 17.

The Clarets are four points behind second-placed Leeds in the automatic promotion places and have the chance to close the gap to just one point if they can win today.

But despite that, there have been a few murmurings of discontent from some fans about the lack of incision, especially after the goalless draw at home to Derby in midweek.

Supporters may have a case when it comes to Burnley's attacking output with 15 goals in 18 games since scoring nine in the opening two fixtures, and five 0-0 draws.

However, at the other end of the pitch, there can be no such complaints as Scott Parker's side have by far the best defence with seven conceded - four fewer than Sheffield United (11), who rank second on goals allowed.

Parker said after the Rams game that the "hardest part of the game is looking for a bit of quality and brilliance that unlocks the door for you".

He told BBC Radio Lancashire: "At times we've fallen short and that's my responsibility as a coach to help this group and ensure we're better."

  13. Will Canaries find flying form?published at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December

It's been a topsy-turvy season so far for Norwich City, who have shown glimpses of what they're capable of without the consistency needed to be right in the play-off mix.

The Canaries won four of six from the end of August until the start of October before going on a seven-game winless run (D4 L3).

Johannes Hoff Thorup's side then thrashed Plymouth 6-1 and stuck four past Luton to win two on the bounce.

But just when you thought Norwich were back on track, they lost 3-0 at QPR and shared a goalless draw with Portsmouth.

The Canaries aren't usually goal shy, though, netting 35 times already - only Leeds (37) have scored more.

One thing Norwich have been able to rely on is their form at Carrow Road. Bristol City inflicted a first home defeat on them on 9 November but that's their only loss in 24 such games.

That impressive home record might be something to lean on once again today.
