  2. What's next?published at 17:36 British Summer Time 11 August

It's League Cup last-16 weekend next.

Hibs play Celtic (again!) at Parkhead. Kilmarnock go to Motherwell and St Johnstone travel to Hampden to face Rangers.

For St Mirren, they are at Tannadice.

Of course, Killie and the Buddies have European commitments before then on Thursday.

  3. Levein demands more despite impressive winpublished at 17:34 British Summer Time 11 August

    FT: Kilmarnock 0-3 St Johnstone

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein tells BBC Scotland: "There was some really good stuff, but the points are the most important thing after playing reasonably well last week and not getting any.

"Kilmarnock is a hard place to come to. I know they've had a tough game in Europe and that's taken a toll, but all credit to our guys. We played really well for long spells.

"We did too many things I think we can do better. Our defending could be better, we survived by the width of the post on a couple of occasions. Saying that, the clean sheet argues against that."

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Sportsound: "We still have parts to improve but the fighting spirit is amazing.

"They give everything they have and they do it together, so I'm delighted with that. It's a strong group."

On Bojan Miovski's potential exit: "I can't say anything about [Miovski]. There's still strong interest in him but still he's here. That's all I can say."

Last season, it was February before St Johnstone registered their first away win in the Premiership. They have one already this term and we're barely into August.

Scoring goals was also a problem, but on the evidence of this afternoon that area may not be so much of an issue going forward. Adama Sidibeh and Benjamin Kimpioka ran the Kilmarnock defence ragged and deservedly shared three goals.

Two for Sidibeh before half-time effectively wrapped this one up before the Swedish striker won and converted a late penalty.

They had other chances and, but for Robby McCrorie in the Kilmarnock goal, this could have been a rout before half-time, with the home side playing with 10 men for over 75 minutes after Joe Wright picked up two early yellow cards.

    What a player - 44 goals in 97 games.

He'll be a miss for Aberdeen and the Premiership.

Stephen Craigan says on Sportsound it's a head-scratcher that neither of the Old Firm clubs have made an attempt to sign Bojan Miovski.

    Can't disagree.

Derek McInnes teams are hard to play against and don't concede many goals.

The first two goals were soft. Not something they tend to do. That will be hurting McInnes.

  12. FULL-TIME Kilmarnock 0-3 St Johnstonepublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 11 August

An Adama Sidibeh double helped St Johnstone coast past 10-man Kilmarnock at Rugby Park to pick up their first win of the new Premiership season.

Sidibeh's strikes sandwiched Joe Wright's red card as the defender was sent off after two yellows in the opening 16 minutes.

It got worse for Kilmarnock in the second half when they were denied a penalty before conceding one two minutes later, with Benjamin Kimpioka converting.

After last week's heavy defeat to Celtic, Kilmarnock sit bottom of the table after two games, having conceded seven goals.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-3 St Johnstone

That should have been a consolation for Kilmarnock.

Bobby Wales is somehow able to prod the ball over the top of the St Johnstone defence and put Marley Watkins one-on-one, but his shot is saved.

From the resulting corner, Watkins is denied on the line by a desperate block before Stuart Findlay pings the rebound off the post.

  14. Miovski in tearspublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 11 August

This surely confirms Bojan Miovski is offski.

He's wiping away tears from his face while beating the Aberdeen badge in front of adoring Dons fans at Pittodrie.

Plenty of waves in there as well. He's now got a scarf round his neck. Wholesome stuff.

  15. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 3-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 11 August

Six games, six wins. Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin maintains his winning start.

Of course, only two of those games have been in the league.

The players and staff now embark on a lap of honour at a bouncing Pittodrie.

Pretty sure Adama Sidibeh would have been desperate for that penalty so he had the chance to complete a hat-trick.

But Benjamin Kimpioka highlighted why he's St Johnstone's spot-kick taker.

    Cool as you like.
