Hibernian centre-back Warren O'Hora tells BBC Scotland: "Obviously they are league champions for a reason. I thought the first half we set up for a plan and it kind of goes when we concede very early on and then again.

"I thought second half we came out and had a right go for our fans. I thought we were much better. In terms of an experience that’s the level we need to get to. The second half was definitely something we can take positives from.

"There are still things we can mop up on. We said in the dressing room it’s a game of football and there is another game next week in the cup. Anything can happen in the cup but we need to play the game the way we do in the second half.

"The speed, the tempo, the physicality of the game is obviously higher. They have some great individuals in there but I didn’t think they absolutely blew us away."

More reaction from Easter Road, anyone?

  3. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstonepublished at 15:54 British Summer Time 11 August

A disastrous first half for Kilmarnock.

They conceded early, went down to 10 men, and then conceded again.

Adama Sidibeh, who has scored a double, and Andre Raymond have run riot for the visitors and if anything, they only look like adding to their lead.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Kilmarnock nearly get one back on the brink of half-time.

It's controlled in the box, knocked back to Fraser Murray, and his shot deflects wickedly on to the post.

I think that would have come back for a handball anyway.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

    Almost an incredible goal.

A corner is chipped to the edge of the box and Drey Wright catches it on the volley.

It's right at the keeper though and Robby McCrorie is able to palm away.

  6. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 1-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 11 August

It was looking all sunshine and smiles for Aberdeen until Toyosi Olusanya cancelled out Pape Habib Gueye's opener right on half-time.

It's game on for the second 45 minutes.

GOAL! Aberdeen 1-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:49 British Summer Time 11 August

    Toyosi Olusanya

He's done it again! St Mirren's saviour in their Conference League draw with Brann the other night comes up trumps again.

Toyosi Olusanya gets in between the two Aberdeen centre-halves, disposseses them both, nudges towards goal then finishes after Dimitar Mitov's initial save.

A terrible goal to lose, but then again so was Aberdeen's.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Adama Sidibeh is in the box again but this time his back is to goal. He lays it off to Benjamin Kimpioka, who then knocks it to Matt Smith.

He curls for goal and Robby McCrorie turns it behind for a corner.

  9. Super Sidibehpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Here's the moment Adama Sidibeh scored his and St Johnstone's second, leaving 10-man Kilmarnock with a mountain to climb at Rugby Park.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Almost a hat-trick for Adama Sidibeh!

Andre Raymond rampages down the left again and he picks out Sidibeh in the middle.

Once more, he has time to take a touch but this time his shot is blocked.

    Aberdeen 1-0 St Mirren

Aberdeen have avoided defeat in their last six matches when scoring first in the Premiership, since a 1-2 loss to - you guessed it - St Mirren in March.

GOAL! Aberdeen 1-0 St Mirrenpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 11 August

    Pape Habib Gueye

Aberdeen are in front and it's largely down to St Mirren goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe.

He conceded possession deep in St Mirren territory that led to a corner, from which Jamie McGrath lifted the ball over the keeper's outstretched arm for Pape Habib Gueye to nod home.

Balcombe won't want to see those moments back.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 11 August

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Shaun Rooney lunges into Ester Sokler and the St Mirren man is promptly booked.

Aberdeen fans wanted a red there.

  14. goal

GOAL! Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstonepublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 11 August

    Adam Sidibeh

He's got two. Ten-man Kilmarnock are in a mess.

Andre Raymond beats his man and whips a low cross in. Sidibeh takes a step back, gives himself a yard, and rifles in from close range.

Again, it's poor defending from the hosts.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 St Johnstone

Benjamin Kimpioka links well with Adama Sidibeh on the left before squaring up the defender, going right then left, and unleashing a powerful shot that Robby McCrorie has to save.

The Saints duo are causing havoc this afternoon.

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Half an hour in and this one is tight.

St Mirren's physical approach has prevented Aberdeen enjoying the kind of freedom to spread the ball about like they did at St Johnstone on Monday.

    Kilmarnock 0-1 St Johnstone

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

"C'mon, referee, get a grip" is the cry from a Killie fan just to my right. Boos ring round the ground every time a decision goes against Kilmarnock.

Chris Graham, the man in the middle, is taking a lot of flak but I'm not sure why.

Kilmarnock have started poorly, had a man needlessly yet deservedly sent off, and only really have themselves to blame for the trouble they're in at the moment.

  18. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-1 St Johnstone

A bit of action in the St Johnstone area but the visitors are able to get it clear.

We're 25 minutes in and Kilmarnock are yet to have a single shot in anger.

'Sheepishly' would just about sum up how Joe Wright trudged all the way from the far touchline, across the pitch and past his unimpressed manager Derek McInnes.

Kilmarnock were already a goal down, he was already on a yellow card and still he lunged in late. Utter folly.

It's meant McInnes has had to shuffle the pack yet again.

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:26 British Summer Time 11 August

    Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Pape Habib Gueye is through in the inside left channel for Aberdeen.

He really needs to take it with his left foot but goes with the outside of his right. Side netting is the result.

Sportsound pundit and Aberdeen great Willie Miller is unimpressed, commenting: "Poor effort". Who am I to argue?
