    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Well, VAR is having a long look at it.

After an age, the decision remains a free-kick to St Johnstone.

Apparently, there was a foul on Danny Armstrong but it was outside the box. But, because Chris Graham gave a free-kick the other way, it will remain a St Johnstone free-kick.

And Armstrong's yellow card stands. It's all a right mess.

  2. goal

GOAL! Aberdeen 3-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 11 August

    Vicente Besuijen

A fine header from the substitute.

Vicente Besuijen ghosts in behind the St Mirren defence to meet Graeme Shinnie's deep cross and head past Ellery Balcombe.

That should be all three points for the Dons.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Danny Armstrong goes down in the box under the challenge of Andre Raymond and referee Chris Graham awards... a free-kick.

He's booked Armstrong for simulation too. The winger has to be careful he's not booked for dissent as well.

Ester Sokler's shot is deflected over by Marcus Fraser.

An important intervention from the St Mirren man.

    Aberdeen 2-1 St Mirren

Caolan Boyd-Munce tests Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov from long range.

It had the accuracy, not the power.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Kilmarnock are threatening more and more.

It's Brad Lyons who goes close next, rasping a long-range drive a yard wide from 25 yards.

Ouch!published at 16:34 British Summer Time 11 August

    Aberdeen 2-1 St Mirren

Alex Gogic is hurt and is being tended to by the St Mirren physio but the Cypriot wants to play on.

That's commitment for you. A warrior.

  9. Postpublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 11 August

    Aberdeen 2-1 St Mirren

St Mirren still very much in this and Aberdeen defender Slobodan Rubezic seems to have learned his lesson from earlier as he takes a safety first approach with a clearance.

No scraps for Toyosi Olusanya to feed off on this occasion.

  10. Postpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

Another chance for Kilmarnock. A long throw is headed to the edge of the area where Fraser Murray lies in wait, but his volley flies over.

This has been a better five minutes for Kilmarnock.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:28 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

A chance for Kilmarnock to get one back as Stuart Findlay nods over Danny Armstrong's corner.

He was unmarked at the front post and should have hit the target.

Into the final half hour in both games at Pittodrie and Ayrshire.

Feels like the game could be away from 10-man Kilmarnock unless they can do something special, but St Mirren are still right in it at Aberdeen.

We're braced for a dramatic end to the weekend.

GOAL! Aberdeen 2-1 St Mirrenpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 11 August

    Jamie McGrath

What a start to the season he's having.

Jamie McGrath is on hand to finish on the left of the box after Ester Sokler's cross is helped on by Shayden Morris.

    He took that one well.

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein has just taken his glasses off and given them a right good clean. Is that because he can't quite believe what he's seeing?

His side are two goals to the good, a man to the good and have just headed over the bar from a corner through Jack Sanders.

  16. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 11 August

    Aberdeen 1-1 St Mirren

Jack MacKenzie's dangerous driven ball across the St Mirren box is cleared by Alex Gogic and Aberdeen can't make anything of the corner.

This already looks like a war of attrition in the second half.

  17. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 11 August

    Kilmarnock 0-2 St Johnstone

One change for Kilmarnock at half-time. Matty Kennedy replaces captain Kyle Vassell.

There's a near nightmare for them immediately though. Robbie Deas fouls Benjamin Kimpioka right on the edge of the box as he tries to shepherd a ball out for a goal kick.

    He's into the book.

I like the look of Saints' left-back Andre Raymond. A lot.

He set up St Johnstone's second, has plenty of pace, a nice trick or two and a wand of a left foot. What's not to like?

Saints look to have found a good one there in the Trinidad and Tobago international
