  1. Grealish the new Everton heropublished at 14:43 BST

Everton v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Hill Dickinson Stadium

It's a soggy afternoon down on the Mersey waterfront but the sun has been shining of Everton and Jack Grealish.

Grealish has been named Premier League player of the month after contributing four assists to Everton's wins against Brighton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He celebrated his 30th birthday this week and will be hoping to celebrate against former club Aston Villa, who have lost their last two league games away to Brentford and at home to Aston Villa.

  2. 'Emery is the perfect person' for Sanchopublished at 14:42 BST

Everton v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Jadon Sancho needs a manager who will help guide him. Unai Emery is the perfect person to do that.

Aston Villa have not scored a goal this season in the Premier League. With the players they have got; Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Youri Tielemans. I'm sure it will start clicking. You also have Harvey Elliot to add into the mix.

  4. 'A great game for Grealish'published at 14:41 BST

Everton v Aston Villa (15:00 BST)

    .

What a great game this is for Jack Grealish against his old club.

He has been on fire for Everton since joining them from Manchester City, and it is great to see him playing with a smile on his face. He has been the real creative spark for them this season and if he carries on this form he will be well and truly in the mix to make the England squad for next summer's World Cup.

So much has changed about Everton since David Moyes lost his first game back in charge against Villa, at Goodison Park in January, and not just that they now have a new ground.

You just sense that, with Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, they have the attacking threat now that they had lacked for a long time. They will be full of belief, against an Aston Villa side who badly need a positive result after their slow start to the new campaign.

The obvious prediction, based on form, is to back Everton to win but I actually don't think Villa will keep on losing.

They are under-performing and also maybe bought a few players in a bit of panic at the end of the transfer window - Jadon Sancho, Harvey Elliott and Victor Lindelof all joined on deadline day - but Emery will get a tune out of his team sooner or later.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

  5. Who is Woltemade?published at 14:38 BST

    Newcastle v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    Tom McCoy
    BBC Sport journalist

So, Newcastle's club record signing Nick Woltemade makes his debut today.

It is only 14 months since the striker joined Stuttgart from Werder Bremen on a free but he has enjoyed a rapid rise since, netting 17 league and cup goals during a breakout season, winning the German Cup and finishing as top scorer at this summer's European Under-21 Championship.

The 6ft 6in player is an aerial threat but by no means fits the profile of a classic target man. Instead he is a technically strong footballer who looks to link play and run with the ball, finishing sixth among Bundesliga strikers for dribbles attempted last season.

Last term, he also ranked fourth in the top European leagues for most touches in the opposition box per 90 minutes, and the company he keeps in that metric is telling.

  6. 'Woltemade will be a focal point'published at 14:38 BST

    Newcastle v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    Andy Reid
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I do think Nick Woltemade will play more as a nine. I don't think he will work the side areas and the channels as much as Alexander Isak has done. What you have got is someone who will be a focal point as a nine.

  7. 'Newcastle can move on now the Isak saga is over'published at 14:37 BST

    Newcastle v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton predictions graphics

Both of these teams are still without a win so far, although Wolves are the only Premier League club without a point on the board.

Newcastle have drawn twice and only lost very late on against Liverpool, so their form is hardly cause for concern.

They can move on now the Alexander Isak transfer saga is over, although this could be our first look at some of their new attack.

Yoane Wissa is unavailable so we will have to wait and see how fit and ready Nick Woltemade is, but I still think Newcastle will have too much for a Wolves team who are leaking too many goals.

At least Wolves do carry a threat going forward - though they will be missing Jorgen Strand Larsen, who Newcastle tried to sign last month.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-1

  8. 'An exciting draw, not a boring one'published at 14:33 BST

    Bournemouth v Brighton (15:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton predictions graphics

Both these teams had really good wins before the international break.

Bournemouth only beat Tottenham 1-0 but they absolutely hammered them, and could and should have scored more goals.

Brighton's victory over Manchester City was different in that they nicked the points late on - Erling Haaland was my Fantasy Premier League captain and he could have had a hat-trick for Pep Guardiola's side - but that was still an impressive result.

When I did my research for these predictions, I was a little surprised that the Seagulls did the double over the Cherries last season, winning 2-1 home and away.

I don't think Bournemouth will end up empty handed this time, though. I am going for a draw - an exciting one, not a boring one - on the south coast.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

  9. Bournemouth solve defensive dilemma?published at 14:31 BST

    Bournemouth v Brighton (15:00 BST)

After losing four of their first-choice back five over the summer, there was a lot of scrutiny on Bournemouth's new-look defence in their opening 4-2 defeat by Liverpool.

But the Cherries bounced back defensively, keeping two clean sheets as they beat both Tottenham and Wolves.

In that time, they faced the fewest shots (11) and fewest shots on target (two) of any Premier League side.

  10. In-form duo meetpublished at 14:29 BST

Crystal Palace v Sunderland (15:00 BST)

    Sophie Brown
    BBC Sport

Crystal Palace host Sunderland in a battle between two sides who have made bright starts to the season.

With two trophies in the past four months and a place secured in the league phase of Europe's Conference League, it is a great time to be a Palace fan, and the good form has not just been limited to the cup competitions.

The Eagles are on the longest current unbeaten league streak of any side in the Premier League, a run of nine games. They have not gone 10 without defeat in the top flight since a run of 12 in 1990, and have set a new club record of 14 games unbeaten in all competitions as a top-flight side.

The away side has won five of the past six Premier League meetings between these two teams, and after their impressive start to the season, victory at Selhurst Park might no longer surprise Sunderland fans.

In fact, the Black Cats could become just the third newly promoted club to win three of their opening four Premier League matches, after Nottingham Forest in 1994-95 and Bolton Wanderers in 2001-02.

  12. FULL-TIME Arsenal 3-0 Nottingham Forestpublished at 14:27 BST

Well, what a satisfying afternoon for Arsenal.

That was as comfortable a win as you could hope to get in the Premier League.

A Martin Zubimendi double either side of a goal from Viktor Gyokeres means Arsenal move ahead of league leaders Liverpool - albeit on goal difference and having played a game more.

It's a disappointing start to life at Forest for Ange Postecoglou. They barely laid a glove on Arsenal and looked sloppy at the back.

He [Ange Postecoglou] will assess, look at the game, sit down and watch it. It's still very early. He'll still be sussing out his team, sussing out his players, sussing out everything really.

There's been some good performances from the Arsenal lads, Mosquera has been really terrific accompanying Gabriel really well at the centre of defence, Madueke has played really, really well.

The best players on the pitch have been in red and white today.

My colleague reliably informs me that it's the first time Martin Zubimendi has scored twice in a game during his career.

And I for one believe him.
