Do we think Sunderland can survive? I know they haven’t had a massive challenge yet with Palace arguably being the biggest team they’ve played but they have had a superb start and are ahead of the likes of City, Man United and Spurs (albeit early in the season) but they’ve made smart signings and Le Bris seems to be a good manager who can handle a top league.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:33 BST

    Fulham 0-0 Leeds

Fulham bring on club record signing Kevin. The one-name Brazilian replaces Alex Iwobi.

  8. 'World-class save by Martinez'published at 16:33 BST

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Michael Keane wins that initial header and that's a world-class save by Emiliano Martinez. That's why the Villa fans are happy to have him back in their goal.

Palace still have the strong point of attack through Mateta, but with Eze gone and Sarr injured, he's got two new, and therefore unfamiliar, teammates supporting him. These new signings will click, and I'm sure we'll look better in weeks to come, but this is what happens when you leave signings until the last minute. They need pre-season together to get used to playing as a team.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:31 BST

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

Big chance for Everton as Michael Keane directs a header at goal but Emi Martinez does superbly to get a hand to it and push away.

  12. 'Feistiness'published at 16:30 BST

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

A little bit of feistiness in the game. I hope Simon Hooper doesn't get carried away thinking he's the centre of attention.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:30 BST

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

Another Wolves yellow for a foul, this time to Joao Gomes.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:29 BST

    Everton 0-0 Aston Villa

A debut now for Harvey Elliott as he comes on for Aston Villa, replacing Emiliano Buendía.

  15. 'Wolves need to start scoring'published at 16:29 BST

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on Final Score

I don't think Wolves are going down. I think there's a right to be concerned because it's been a couple of seasons of things not looking how you want them to look. They've lost key players.

Even in this game they have been competitive but they need to start scoring goals. I'm not worried about them for now because they do have some quality but the new players have to hi the ground running as soon as possible.

  16. A standing ovation for Nick Woltemadepublished at 16:29 BST

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

    Ciaran Kelly
BBC Sport reporter at St James' Park

Newcastle United supporters are on their feet to applaud Nick Woltemade as he's replaced by William Osula.

There is then a rendition of "Woltemade, Woltemade, ole, ole, ole". Looks like he's already a firm fans' favourite.

Woltemade has not had much time to train with his new team-mates and this looks like a substitution with half an eye on Thursday's game against Barcelona.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:29 BST

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

Wolves' Marshall Munetsi has only been on the pitch a few seconds before fouling Sandro Tonali and picking up a yellow card.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:28 BST

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Sunderland

Changes for both sides now as Jefferson Lerma makes way for Justin Devenny for the hosts, while striker Brian Brobbey comes on for his Sunderland debut, replacing Simon Adingra.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:28 BST

    Bournemouth 2-1 Brighton

Brajan Gruda, Carlos Baleba and Stefanos Tzimas are on for Brighton, replacing Danny Welbeck, Georginio Rutter and James Milner.

That's all of Brighton's changes used up now and it's only the 67th minute.

Bournemouth also make a couple of substitutions, bringing on Justin Kluivert and Amine Adli for Alex Scott and David Brooks.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:28 BST

    Newcastle 1-0 Wolves

Wolves send on Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Marshall Munetsi and Jhon Arias for Yerson Mosquera, debutant Tolu Arokodare and Andre.
