    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

A great bit of goalkeeping from Jacob Chapman, he's looked really assured so far.

  2. Postpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

Lively wing play from Kalvin Ehibhatiomhan as he gets past the full-back and sends in a devilish cross looking for Sam Smith.

But it's fine goalkeeping from Jacob Chapman to come off his line and claim it. He'll be very pleased with that after his late call-up to the side.

  3. Postpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 1-0 Bradford

    Tim Steere
BBC Radio York's Harrogate Town commentator

It's been a brilliant start for Harrogate Town.

I think a big reason as to why Bradford City haven't got going yet is because they've hardly had the ball.

  4. Postpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time

    Walsall 0-0 Colchester

These two are still feeling each other out with neither goalkeeper seriously tested.

Colchester started well, forcing two free-kicks around the 18-yard area and a corner but with no end product.

Walsall have now got themselves into the game and are growing into it.

  5. Postpublished at 12:46 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

BBC Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor has linked all Reading's problems back to 29 May 2017 - that Wembley play-off.

It is probably a fair point as they subsequently overspent in chasing that Premier League dream.

Now head coach Ruben Selles is hoping and praying that a takeover can happen sooner rather than later.

  6. Dooley doing the businesspublished at 12:45 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 1-0 Bradford

    Paul Bolland
Ex-Harrogate midfielder on BBC Radio York

    It's a different Stephen Dooley.

He deserves that goal because he's been Town's best player in the last few weeks.

  7. Postpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time

    Crawley 0-1 Bolton

Ben Gladwin is taking charge of Crawley this afternoon as interim manager following Scott Lindsey's departure to MK Dons.

He has picked an unchanged line-up but it's worth mentioning that there are only two players in the team who played in that League Two play-off final in May.

It is basically a new team.

You can't say it hasn't been coming with the start Harrogate have made and they get themselves in front as Toby Sims supplies the cross for Stephen Dooley to apply the finish.

  9. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 0-0 Bradford

    Tim Steere
BBC Radio York's Harrogate Town commentator

Within the first five minutes Harrogate Town are more up for this than they were against Crewe.

Harrogate lost 3-0 to Crewe last Saturday

  10. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time

    Walsall 0-0 Colchester

A quiet opening to this one with Colchester failing to make the most of two decent set-piece situations on the edge of the box.

Walsall have defended well but we are yet to really see them as an attacking force.

  11. Postpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

Josh Koroma tries his luck and forces Reading goalkeeper David Button to get down low and make a good save.

  12. Postpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 0-0 Bradford City

Harrogate have started strongly in this Yorkshire derby with Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker denying Jack Muldoon and then parrying another strike behind for a corner.

    Bradford haven't got started yet.

  13. goal

GOAL: Crawley 0-1 Boltonpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time

    Kyle Dempsey (5 mins)

We have our first goal of the afternoon!

Kyle Dempsey has been brought back in by Ian Evatt and it only takes five minutes to justify the decision.

It's a well worked short corner by Jos Sheehan as it's fired low to Dempsey around the penalty spot and he drills it low past Jojo Wollacott.

    Bolton lead in sunny Sussex!

  14. 'Muldoon kicking himself'published at 12:36 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 0-0 Bradford

    Paul Bolland
Ex-Harrogate midfielder on BBC Radio York

Jack Muldoon is not going to get a better opportunity this afternoon.

It's a brilliant save from Walker but Muldoon will be kicking himself that he's not put that in the back of the net.

  15. Postpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time

    Crawley 0-0 Bolton

Crawley goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott is into the action already as he blocks Dion Charles' shot.

  16. Duff shakes things uppublished at 12:34 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Huddersfield

Michael Duff described Huddersfield as having a soft underbelly after their defeat to Blackpool in midweek.

Well, he's really rolled the dice with SEVEN changes to his starting line-up.

It was six, but goalkeeper Lee Nicholls has had to pull out after the warm-up, with Jacob Chapman stepping up to take his place.

  17. Postpublished at 12:34 British Summer Time

    Harrogate 0-0 Bradford City

Jack Muldoon has the first sight of goal as he breaks through for Harrogate but the Bradford goalkeeper Sam Walker makes the save.

    Reading v Huddersfield (12:30 BST)

A meeting between Reading and Huddersfield automatically evokes memories of their most famous clash in 2017 under the Wembley arch.

That day, David Wagner's Terriers prevailed in a penalty shoot-out to win the Championship play-off final and secure Premier League football.

In May 2023, Huddersfield's late charge under Neil Warnock kept them up in the second tier at the Royals' expense.

But the reprieve was temporary as both sides now reside in the third tier. In fact, it's a first meeting at this level between the pair since 2002.

Reading's ownership troubles rumble on, Huddersfield have lost three in four - three points are needed for both, but how they long for better days.

  20. Is Bolton's play-off hangover finally over?published at 12:26 British Summer Time

    Crawley v Bolton (12:30 BST)

Bolton manager Ian Evatt and striker Dion Charles after the 5-2 win over ReadingImage source, Rex Features

This is a meeting between two clubs still defined by one Wembley weekend back in May.

For Crawley, it was their unexpected League Two triumph over Crewe Alexandra and a return to this level for the first time since 2015.

The only trouble is that there has been a drain of talent from that afternoon, marked this week by manager Scott Lindsey dropping down a division to take the MK Dons job.

Bolton's Wembley experience was one of crushing disappointment in losing to Oxford United and the hangover has been a bad one.

A run of three straight league defeats was only ended by a thumping 5-2 win over Reading last Saturday.

Was that the start of the recovery or temporary respite from their Wembley woes?
