  1. 'Big half for Reading'published at 13:36 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

    Tim Dellor
    BBC Berkshire sport editor

This is a big half of football, it sets the mood, it sets the tone.

If Reading win it everything becomes very exciting, if Reading lose it then that's not how we want to go into the next run of games.

    Harrogate 2-1 Bradford

Back underway in this entertaining Yorkshire derby and the Bradford manager Graham Alexander isn't standing on ceremony.

The visitors' boss has made three changes straight away - it's almost as if he didn't like what he saw in the first-half...

Bolton began the day nine points behind the automatic promotion spots, which is a big gap in September.

The first priority is to record successive wins for the first time this campaign, so an important second half ahead.

  4. SECOND HALFpublished at 13:32 British Summer Time 28 September

Goals in all four of the early kick-offs, so a big tick from that perspective.

Let's see what the second of our six halves today shapes up.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 28 September

    Walsall 1-0 Colchester

Just the one shot on target but that one belongs to Walsall and Jamie Jellis.

He was set free by a long ball from Taylor Allen and broke between two defenders to slot past Matt Macey.

Up to that point Colchester had seen the better of what chances were on offer with Lyle Taylor blocking Tommy Simkin's clearance only to see the ball fly wide but the visitors' best chance came shortly after Walsall had gone in front but Owura Edwards failed to direct his header on target.

As it stands the Saddlers are riding to the top of the table.

    Walsall 1-0 Colchester

    Andrew Dawkins
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Jamie Jellis, the former Tamworth man, could be putting the Saddlers sky high today.

What a ball by Taylor Allen inside his own half, and a composed low effort by Jamie Jellis puts Walsall 1-0 up.

Walsall midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Getting into half-time 1-0 up would be a good score and we can then build on it in the second half.

I think the lead has been deserved.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 28 September

    Harrogate 2-1 Bradford City

Harrogate were out of the blocks quickly with goals from Stephen Dooleyand Ellis Taylorand Bradford had not even got started.

The old adage always has been 2-0 being a dangerous lead (never understood it myself) and Andy Cook'salmost immediate reply seemed to back that up as he dispossessed home defender Anthony O'Connor to score.

    It's a lively Yorkshire derby.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 28 September

    Crawley 0-1 Bolton

Kyle Dempsey's early goal is the difference at the break.

Bolton have looked capable of getting a second goal. If they do, it could be a long way back for Crawley.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

A decent 45 minutes at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Harvey Knibbs cancels out Matty Pearson's opener - all to play for in the second half.

  11. Postpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 28 September

    Crawley 0-1 Bolton

There are not many strikers as sharp as Dion Charles in the third tier and the Northern Ireland international is close again for Bolton.

He gets behind the Crawley backline and his shot is deflected just wide of goal.

  12. Postpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

Matty Pearson has one goal and he is in the mood for more.

Antony Evans floats over the free-kick and the big centre-half heads his head on it, but is a couple of yards wide of David Button's goal.

First shot on target = first goal.

Taylor Allen lofts a ball straight down the middle and Jamie Jellis runs between two defenders to slot past Matt Macey - the Saddlers are top of League Two - as it stands.

  14. Close call for Royalspublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

    Tim Dellor
    BBC Berkshire sport editor

We heard the huge cheer from the Huddersfield town fans it was very deceptive.

For a horrible moment it looked as thought the ball hit the back of the Reading net.

  15. Postpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 28 September

    Walsall 0-0 Colchester

You've got two in-form sides here but we haven't had a single shot on target so far.

Colchester's Lyle Taylor, Tom Flanagan and Alex Woodyard have all been cautioned.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:07 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

Huddersfield are close to retaking the lead. Brodie Spencer gets the ball just inside the area and he forces David Button into a flying save.

We need to lift our game at the moment and try and get a spell going.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 28 September

    Crawley 0-1 Bolton

Ian Evatt is never shy of a word or two with the match officials and the Bolton boss has talked him into a booking from referee Jacob Miles.

  19. Postpublished at 13:02 British Summer Time 28 September

    Reading 1-1 Huddersfield

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire

He (Knibbs) got the ball out of his feet and he put so much power on it, he beat the keeper at the near post and fired it into the roof of the net.

  20. Postpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 28 September

    Harrogate 2-1 Bradford

    Tim Steere
BBC Radio York's Harrogate Town commentator

That's what you don't do when you have the advantage.

Andy Cook doesn't make the mistake, great finish across Belshaw into the bottom corner.
