    Bournemouth 0-1 Brighton

Lewis Cook is in the thick of things once again - but this time he is convinced he should have been awarded a penalty after making his way into the Brighton box and being sent to the ground by Pervis Estupinan.

His protests are dismissed but an arm definitely came out from Estupinan. Whether that was enough to bring Cook down, only he knows.

    What a LOVELY finish!

John McGinn spots the run of Ollie Watkins and threads a delicious ball into the path of the England forward who goes past Dean Henderson before tucking home.

There's a VAR check for a possible offside but Trevoh Chalobah was playing Watkins on.

Brentford haven't kept a clean sheet in the league so far this season and that statistic is under heavy scrutiny again.

Thomas Frank's side will be thankful to goalkeeper Mark Flekken for not conceding yet, with the Bees number one making a couple of crucial stops.

It is a beautiful ball over the top and the way that Matheus Cunha caresses the ball and then dinks it over the top of the keeper is incredible.

Wolves haven't been playing particularly well but it is route one football and a lovely finish.

Dean is absolutely right. Saka, Palmer, Colwill and probably Foden all playing today having been declared injured by their clubs whereas other teams are not at full strength because players got injured on international duty (for example Konsa and Onana for Villa). I believe any player who withdraws from an international squad should not be eligible to play the next 2 league games.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Nott'm Forest

Chris Wood has been instructed to start warming up.

Forest are struggling to carve out chances and David Raya has had virtually nothing to do as the rain continues to fall at the Emirates.

Gabriel Jesus is the latest home player to be booked after a foul on Nicolas Dominguez.

  7. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 0-1 Brighton

Lewis Cook stands over a free-kick just inside the Brighton half and... crosses it straight out of play on the far side.

He'll almost certainly blame the wind but, either way, he won't want to see that one again.

Spot on from Dean, no chance any of those players were not fit for England, should be some form of consequence for the club for players dropping out unless they were missing games beforehand or are ruled out by England medical staff

I did say there was encouragement! Mario Lemina lifts a great pass over the Fulham defence and Matheus Cunha takes a glorious first touch and then prods beyond Bernd Leno.

It really is a wonderful piece of technique to bring that down and finish it so quickly.

  10. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 1-0 Wolves

There's been a bit of encouragement for Wolves after falling behind. They work it well on the edge of the box as Joao Gomes finds Rodrigo Gomes wide left in the box.

Should he have shot? I think so but he decides to cross and Fulham clear.

  11. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 0-1 Brighton

Brighton's only two attempts so far were Georginio Rutter's saved shot which led to Joao Pedro's opener.

Since then the Seagulls have had to absorb plenty of pressure, but there's still no way through for Bournemouth as we approach the half-hour mark.

Justin Kluivert is the latest to go close for the hosts, side-footing wide with a first-time effort.

In the kidnest possible way this is a throwback to Arsenal from many years ago.

A piece of beauty with the one-twos and the understanding of each other. If that had gone in it would have deserved goal of the month.

Which club will Graham Potter manage next?

He's at the Emirates watching Arsenal turn on the style.

Lots of clever flicks and one-twos from the hosts.

Everton could really do with a win today - as they then heading towards a mammoth run of tough fixtures against the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea. Will be intriguing to observe whether Sean Dyche will be able to navigate such a run without the pressure of the new ownership changing him in January

Mark Flekken to the rescue once again, although it is a save he probably should make.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin races through but the angle is narrowing every step he takes. He finally shoots and Flekken diverts wide with his foot.

So Saka, Palmer, Colwill all magically fit for the games today having been declared not fit for the England game. Waiting for Foden to be the same later. Hope Tuchel is taking note.

I'm afraid the Emery honeymoon period is well over for me. Whilst some blame can go to injuries and Champions League games, we aren't good enough in all areas. Martinez is poor this season and Watkins a shadow of what he was last season. Mid-table finish at best I fear.

Brentford are defending so deep here. Yoane Wissa's head drops as he collects the ball deep in his own half but there's no one ahead of him to pass to.

The Everton fans react as they try to push their side to an opener.
