Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn saves from Watford's Giorgi ChakvetadzeImage source, Rex Features

The Hornets have a great chance to level on the break as Giorgi Chakvetadze is sent running through on goal.

But the Georgian's touch lets him down, showing too much of the ball to Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn who gets down to make the block.

It bounces off the Watford man and out for a goalkick.

The home fans want a penalty, but nothing doing.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Plymouth 0-0 West Brom

West Brom's Jed Wallace dribbles away from Plymouth's Maksym TalovierovImage source, Rex Features

The half ends with Mustapha Bundu trying to beat Alex Palmer with a chip from around 40 yards, but the goalkeeper is smart to it and takes the ball on his chest - that is modern keeping for you!

    And that is half-time.

West Brom have monopolised the ball but Plymouth have remained very resolute, with no gaps in their defence.

It all means that we have had a bit of a stalemate for large periods of the half. It's worth remembering that a point is OK for both sides, but three would be so valuable.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Oxford's Siriki Dembele takes on Bristol City's Jason KnightImage source, Rex Features

Chances at a premium and it's all square at the break, but by far the biggest talking point of that first half is the sending off for Bristol City midfielder Joe Williams.

Williams lunged into a heavy tackle on Oxford's Will Vaulks in the 31st minute and referee Oliver Langford showed him a straight red.

The Robins might feel a little harshly done by and it could be a long 45 minutes to try and see out a point from here.

Oxford will be hoping to make the most of their man advantage in the second half.

  4. Postpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Oxford can't make anything of the corner.

  5. 'Norwich have to lock game off'published at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Watford 0-1 Norwich

    Leon Barnett
Former Norwich defender on BBC Radio Norfolk

It's important that Norwich lock this game off now after the goal going into half-time.

  6. Postpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Lovely skill from Przemyslaw Placheta as he Cruyff flicks it down the line for Peter Kioso.

Bristol City manage to clear and a long-throw into the box is comfortably claimed by visiting keeper Max O'Leary.

Moments later, Placheta then sees an effort from just outside the box deflected behind for a corner.

  7. goal

GOAL Watford 0-1 Norwichpublished at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Josh Sargent (40 mins)

Oscar Schwartau has room in the Watford 18-yard box, but is low effort is blocked.

The Hornets then concede a free-kick right on the edge of the box, bang centre.

Emi Marcondes' effort is blocked but it pops up to Lucien Mahovo. His effort is saved brilliantly by Jonathan Bond, but the rebound falls to Josh Sargent who can't miss and he forces it home.

A seventh of the season for Sargent and his third in two games.

  8. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Plymouth 0-0 West Brom

Mikey Johnston makes room for himself as he cuts inside from his position on the left-wing.

His shot isn't the best, but it dips awkwardly in front of Conor Hazard and the goalkeeper can't hang on, but there are no West Brom players in close attendance and he can gather at the second attempt.

A first shot on target of the afternoon.

  9. Postpublished at 13:12 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

This game feels a little flat despite Oxford holding a one-man advantage. The hosts are yet to really test Bristol City since they've gone down to 10.

  10. 'That's not a red card for me'published at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Watford 0-0 Norwich

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

For me that's a yellow card. It's soft.

My belief if you go around the head area then he's off but he's push him around the chest area.

There's a good game going on and that's not a red card for me.

The important thing for Watford is to keep it at 0-0. They'll probably play without a centre-forward now.

  11. Postpublished at 13:07 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Plymouth 0-0 West Brom

Now there is fine defensive work from Matthew Sorinola as Mikey Johnston tries to take him on and Sorinola gets a hug from Maksym Talovierov for his efforts as Johnston slices it behind for a goal-kick.

  12. 'A borderline call'published at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

    Chris Spittles
    BBC Radio Bristol commentator

The sending off was a borderline call for my money and Oxford got the better of it.

The City fans in the away end seem stunned.

  13. RED CARDpublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Watford 0-0 Norwich

Watford's Vakoun Bayo leaves the field following his red cardImage source, Rex Features

Emi Marcondes is down holding his face after scuffles in the box as Watford prepare to take their fourth corner and Vakoun Bayo is off!

Really daft from the Watford forward as he shoves Marcondes towards the throat area and is shown a straight red.

More headaches for Hornets boss Tom Cleverley.

  14. Postpublished at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Well then, how do Bristol City respond now? Down to 10 men and without a win in their past seven games away from home... against an Oxford side who have won four on the bounce at the Kassam Stadium.

  15. Maxi!published at 13:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Plymouth 0-0 West Brom

A fine defensive block from Mason Holgate to get in the way of Callum Wright's header inside the six-yard box.

At the other end, Maksym Talovierov makes a fine sliding tackle and celebrates it with a fist pump!

Maxi will become a cult hero in Devon if he keeps doing things like that.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Oxford's Cameron Brannagan also picks up a yellow for the melee that followed the challenge on Will Vaulks by Joe Williams.

  17. 'The tempo to this game has been high'published at 13:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Watford 0-0 Norwich

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

The tempo has been really high with both sides having plenty of possession.

But who is going to make the most of it, who has the cutting edge and that bit of quality?

Both sides have been very good on the ball.

  18. RED CARD: Joe Williams (Bristol City)published at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Bristol City midfielder Joe Williams has his head in his hands as he's shown a red cardImage source, Rex Features

Bristol City's Joe Williams lunges into a very heavy tackle on Will Vaulks from behind midway inside in the Oxford half and he's sent off!

The home side were furious with the challenge but Robins boss Liam Manning and Williams himself will likely argue it's harsh.

One of those where you can see both arguments. Unnecessary tackle and it's given the maximum punishment.

  19. Postpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Oxford 0-0 Bristol City

Oxford have had the better of the play in the last five mintues or so, without fully threatening an opener.

Cameron Brannangan floats a lovely ball out to Przemyslaw Placheta on the right for the hosts, who cuts inside and hits a left-footed effort from the edge of the box but it's straight at City keeper Ma O'Leary.

  20. Postpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Watford 0-0 Norwich

More danger in the Watford goalmouth as Mattie Pollock stretches to make a vital challenge and deny Lewis Dobbin a clear sight of goal.

A real cruncher and the Canaries forward needs lengthy treatment.
