Cue home fans heading for the exit - cue the Bromley party.

Gillingham are expecting a free-kick to go straight into the box but Ben Thompson slides it down the right for Corey Whitely and Kamarl Grant converts from close range.

    Game over.

  3. goal

GOAL: Newport 0-2 AFC Wimbledonpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Romaine Sawyers (77 mins)

Josh Kelly scored the first goal but he's not done being a thorn in the Exiles side.

The Dons get a break away and he runs into space to the right of the six-yard box with the defenders unable to contain him.

He picks out Romaine Sawyers, who thanks the forward by calmly slicing the ball into the bottom-right corner.

  6. Postpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

A great flick-on by Josh Andrews finds Elliott Nevitt and he cushions it off to Jonny Williams, but the Welsh international fires well over the bar.

Much, much better from Gillingham who are now dominating the game - the problem is they gave Bromley a 2-0 headstart.

  7. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Newport 0-1 AFC Wimbledon

Newport have had nowhere near the impact they possessed in the first half.

They get a little spell of possession but can't do anything with it and the frustration may be building.

Captain Shane McLoughlin tries to unleash a shot from distance but it goes wide of goal with Dons keeper Owen Goodman going the right way to cover anyway.

  8. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

Lots of Gillingham possession in the Bromley half now.

The visitors are defending so deep and give away a free-kick on the apex of their 18-yard-area.

Jonny Williams sends the ball in, it's flicked to the six-yard box where Deji Elerewe hacks it clear.

  9. 'A lot more encouraging'published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

    Peter Lloyd
    BBC Radio Kent

A lot more encouraging from the Gills, there's still a while to go in this game.

Much more threatening so far, you just wonder that if they can get the next goal and the crowd get behind them, they could get something here.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

Grant Smith keeps it at 2-0.

Josh Andrews gets on the end of a cross from Shadrach Ogie but Smith gets down to palm away his header.

Good football from Gillingham to set that up.

  11. Postpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Newport 0-1 AFC Wimbledon

Newport keeper Jacob Carney jumps to collect a cross but is barged into by Matty Stevens and loses the ball into the net.

The foul is spotted though and the whistle blows in Carney's favour before the goal is counted.

  12. Postpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

Gillingham cut out a cross from Idris Odutayo and they build nicely up the pitch to the edge of the Bromley box but there's no end product in terms of a shot or a cross.

Bromley don't want to be sitting back and inviting the home side on to them.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Newport 0-1 AFC Wimbledon

There's a pause in play as Kyle Hudlin drops to the floor following a challenge from Dons midfielder Alistair Smith.

Hudlin gets up, feeling OK but departs the action with Luke Jephcott taking his place.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

A first caution of the evening as Corey Whitely is caught by home substitute Armani Little and he is shown a yellow card.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Newport 0-1 AFC Wimbledon

From scoring a goal to getting his name into the naughty book.

Dons forward Josh Kelly kicks the ball away from a Newport player preparing to take a set-piece and gets a yellow card for time wasting.

  17. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

A lot better from Gillingham at the start of this second period but, let's face it they couldn't be much worse than what we saw in the first 45 minutes.

Remeao Hutton has a little run down the right but runs out of pitch before he can get a cross in.

Bromley will have surely expected this sort of response from the home side.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

Jayden Clarke takes a tumble in the Bromley box but it seems more of a tangle than anything else and referee Ben Atkinson isn't interested.

Still, it's sparked the home crowd into life.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Gillingham 0-2 Bromley

Changes for Gillingham at the break - three of them in fact.

Off have gone Max Clark, Timothee Dieng and Jack Nolan.

They've been replaced by Remeao Hutton, Armani Little and leading scorer Jayden Clarke

  20. goal

GOAL: Newport 0-1 AFC Wimbledonpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Josh Kelly (48 mins)

What a start to the second half for the Dons!

The ball is passed towards Josh Kelly, who nods it down and drives it into the middle of the penalty area.

He's got all the control and rifles a shot into the bottom-right corner, past the diving Newport keeper Jacob Carney.
