  3. 'Doumbia has been outstanding'published at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Sunderland 1-1 Watford

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

I will warn that Sunderland do come on stronger in the second half.

From Watford point of view - they've been good and Mamadou Doumbia has been outstanding.

  4. 'Sunderland need to make changes'published at 13:25 Greenwich Mean Time

    HT: Sunderland 1-1 Watford

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

I'm thinking Sunderland need to make a tactical change. It's crying out for Eliezer Mayenda to come on.

We need to put pressure on their back three.

They are dominating play and having more of the ball.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

    Intriguing rather than enthralling.

The home side have had much the better of the possesion but it's about even in terms of decent chances.

James Beadle made a smart save from Torbjorn Heggem's header and down the other end former Wednesday keeper Joe Wildmsith had to be on his toes to turn Djeidi Gassama's effort around the post.

The away team were forced into a change before the break when Di'Shon Bernard had to go off with a knee injury.

  6. Postpublished at 13:23 Greenwich Mean Time

Isaac Price's ball into the middle for the home side is cut back to the edge of the area for Adam Armstrong but he can't make a clean connection.

Still we play on into the sixth minute of time added on and the home side win a free-kick wide right.

One last chance to swing a ball into the middle.

Watford with the final chance of the half as Ryan Andrews smashes just wide, it looks like it gets a touch for a corner but the officials don't see and that is half-time.

Sunderland started well and took the lead through Luke O'Nien's header but couldn't add to their tally.

Watford sparked into life and won a penalty as Dennis Cirkin fouled Mamadou Doumbia in the box, with Tom Dele-Bashiru levelling the score from the spot.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

The away side bring on Marvin Johnson for the injured Di'Shon Bernard.

We're into five minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.

Mx Lowe will drop into centre-back, at least for these closing minutes.

  11. 'Well deserved for Watford'published at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 1-1 Watford

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

    Lovely penalty from Tom Dele-Bashiru.

The home fans try to put him off but he steps up and catches the goalkeeper and slots it in the opposite bottom corner.

But it's a massive contribution from Mamadou Doumbia.

Tom Cleverley will be delighted with this scoreline and you can't say that Watford don't deserve it.

  12. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 1-1 Watford

Well that has drastically changed things at the Stadium of Light, the crowd are stunned.

Regis Le Bris and Tom Cleverley's half-time talks will no doubt be very different now.

Into three minutes of added time.

  13. Postpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

Wednesday defender Di'Shon Bernard is down again holding his knee and he's going to have to come off.

Really hope that isn't something serious for the former Manchester United man.

  14. 'Sunderland have lost their way'published at 13:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 1-1 Watford

    Gary Bennett

They've got to get it going again, we've lost our way.

  15. Postpublished at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time

Good save by Joe Wildsmith in the Albion goal.

Wednesday move the ball wide left to Djeidi Gassama and he cuts inside and hammers a low shot to the near post.

The former Owls man is down sharply to turn it around the post.

    Good stuff all round.

    Cool as you like.

Tom Dele-Bashiru takes a short, slow run up and slots into the bottom-right corner, with Anthony Patterson going the other way.

Great determination from Mamadou Doumbia to win the spot kick and we are level.

  18. Postpublished at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Wed

This doesn't look good for Wednesday defender Di'Shon Bernard as he goes down holding his knee after a clash with Grady Diangana by the byline.

He's had some treatment and he looks like he's going to give it a go.

  19. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 1-0 Watford

Almost a second for Sunderland and almost a second for Luke O'Nien.

Trai Hume whips a dangerous ball in from the right and O'Nien's glancing header goes beyond the far post.

Had there been a runner like O'Nien for his first goal, this would be 2-0.

  20. Postpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time

    Sunderland 1-0 Watford

Enzo Le Fee's desire and creativity comes to the fore again as he harries and chases to get the ball back before finding Chris Rigg in the middle.

The midfielder's shot is deflected behind for a corner.

Sunderland needed that, this has gotten a bit flat.
