Across the top four tiers of English football the list of teams who still have a 100% winning record reads Manchester City, Liverpool and… Sunderland.

The Black Cats lead the way in the Championship with four wins from four under new French boss Regis le Bris, the first time they have ever started a campaign with four successive league victories.

The Wearsiders will look to maintain their momentum as they make the 800-mile round trip to Wayne Rooney's Plymouth this afternoon.

The Pilgrims are still looking for their first league win of the campaign under their new boss after two draws and two losses.

Plymouth did win this fixture 2-0 last November, but it was their only success in the past five meetings, with the Black Cats winning the reverse at the Stadium of Light 3-1 in February.

More of the same in the south west today?

  2. Azaz roaring as Boro host struggling Prestonpublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 14 September

    Middlesborough v Preston (15:00 BST)

Middlesborough's attacking play has seen them take 28 shots at goal, the most of any Championship team this season, with midfielder Finn Azaz behind a whopping 17 of them.

The 24-year-old has created the joint most chances in the division alongside Watford's Giorgi Chakvetadze and also leads on the most shots on target with nine. That's just one less than visitors Preston taken as an entire team.

The Lilywhites are currently in a bit of a sticky patch, having lost eight of their last nine league games. All the more daunting is that seven of the last eight league meetings between the two sides have been won by the hosts.

It will be a little slice of history if Middlesborough are to take all three points though. It'll be the first time they've taken the win in three consecutive home league games against North End since 1968.

  3. Flagging Bluebirds visit Rams' fortresspublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 14 September

    Derby v Cardiff (15:00 BST)

To be generous, Cardiff's season hasn't got going yet.

Four games in they've picked up one point and scored one goal.

Boss Erol Bulut will know the Bluebirds board won't let that kind of record carry on for too long before looking to make a change in the dugout.

Paul Warne's Derby have made a more encouraging start to life back in the second tier with two wins from their opening four matches.

It already looks like Pride Park will be key to their fortunes this season, they're currently on an eight-match winning streak in front of their own supporters in the league.

  4. Robins visit in-form Roverspublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 14 September

Blackburn v Bristol City (15:00 BST)

Blackburn have made an excellent start to the new season with eight points from their first four matches.

Boss John Eustace isn't getting too caught up in their early-season form though.

"No one's getting carried away by anything, all we know is we've got to keep building and keep working hard," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.

Their recent record against Bristol City isn't the best, with just one win from their past eight meetings, but the Robins visit Lancashire having claimed victory away from home only once in their past nine attempts.

That said, they did batter Blackburn 5-0 down at Ashton Gate in April.

    Don't go anywhere!

We're all wrapped up in the 12:30 BST matches but we still have plenty more to come across all three leagues. Let's have a look at what we've still got in store...

  7. Oxford in the play-offs... for now!published at 14:35 British Summer Time 14 September

    FT: Oxford United 1-0 Stoke

Take a screenshot, Oxford fans, your team are in the Championship play-off places... for at least two-and-a-half hours anyway.

What a start to the campaign for Des Buckingham's side.

Stoke's three goals and six-point return from five matches could well have them in the bottom half come tea-time.

Plenty to ponder for Steven Schumacher.

  8. Leeds 'fizzled out'published at 14:34 British Summer Time 14 September

    FT: Leeds 0-1 Burnley

The red card for Bashir Humphreys is too late in the day to really matter.

Considering all that happend in the first half, the seconds been pretty flat nothing really has happened.

Leeds have sort of fizzled out.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:33 British Summer Time 14 September

    Leeds 0-1 Burnley

Leeds' unbeaten start to the Championship season is over.

Luca Koleosho's first-half strike proved to be the difference as Burnley ended their two-match winless run.

The home side had the vast majority of the ball but their best chance of the whole game came in the opening minute when Mateo Joseph shot wide after running in on goal.

The Clarets ended the game with 10 men after defender Bashir Humphreys was sent off deep into stoppage time.

The Burnley fans celebrate a first win at Elland Road since 2013.

AFC Wimbledon have beaten bitter rivals MK Dons 3-0 thanks to goals from Myles Hippolyte and Callum Maycock.

Hippolyte smashed the home side into a lead in the 10th minute from close range after he was teed up from an indirect free-kick for a back-pass before Maycock sealed victory late on with a quickfire brace.

Swindon cruised to a 4-0 win against Newport after Kabongo Tshimanga, Paul Glatzel and a Matt Baker own goal put them three ahead inside 21 minutes.

Joel Cotterill put the game out of sight on the stroke of half-time and the Robins comfortably saw the victory out in the second-half.

  11. RED CARD - Bashir Humphreys (Burnley)published at 14:32 British Summer Time 14 September

    Leeds 0-1 Burnley

The away team will end the game a man light.

Chelsea loanee Bashir Humphreys is shown a red card for a crunching foul.

An excellent double from veteran striker Lee Gregory gives Mansfield a 2-1 win against Cambridge who, despite it only being five games into the season, will have wanted to correct their recent poor form. Longelo’s goal gave the U’s hope but when a player like Gregory is clocking up the numbers it’s always going to be a hard road back.

Wycombe ran out 2-1 winners against Northampton town after a brilliant first half saw each side produce a solid goal. But the winner came just after the restart when Richard Kone gave the Chairboys the lead after a self-inflicted defensive mess by the Cobblers.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 14 September

    Millwall 0-1 Luton

Thomas Kaminski, hold your gloves up. A massive save at the end of the game secures Luton's first win of the season.

Millwall grabbed themselves a corner in the dying minute and it so easily could have gone in but keeper Kaminski was there to put a stop to the potential result-changer.

The Lions won't want to see a replay of that one. Neither will they want to watch Kaminski get the better of Macaulay Langstaff in a 1v1 earlier in the second-half.

Rob Edwards said before this match that he had faith his team would see results and Luton have backed up his claim with some fine defensive work and an excellent Teden Mengi first-half goal.

    Leeds 0-1 Burnley

Burnley are minutes away from their first win at Elland Road since 2013.

Leeds had won seven of their past nine home games against the Clarets.

  15. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 14 September

    Oxford United 1-0 Stoke

Oxford United's home really is their fortress.

That's a third straight win at the Kassam following their promotion back to the second tier after more than two decades away.

Idris El Mizouni's close-range finish from sub Ruben Rodrigues' pull-back proves the difference.

No goal for Mark Harris, but he and Des Buckingham will surely be delighted at three points and a clean sheet.

Steven Schumacher has plenty of talent at his disposal but need to find their touch in the final third.

  16. League Two latestpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 14 September

It's game, set and match for AFC Wimbledon as two late goals put them 3-0 ahead against MK Dons.

Callum Maycock slammed a finish home in the final minute of normal time before adding another in the 97th minute.

The fans behind the goal in the home end are going wild as they seal victory over their bitter rivals. AFC Wimbledon are going top, for now at least.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 14 September

    Leeds 0-1 Burnley

We're into EIGHT minutes of time added on at the end of this.

Can Leeds preserve their unbeaten start to the league season?

  18. CLOSE!published at 14:22 British Summer Time 14 September

    Oxford United 1-0 Stoke

As close as Stoke have come. Emre Tezgel ghosts in to meet Jordan Thompson's inviting curling cross from the right but can only get a faint touch and the ball goes straight to Us keeper Jamie Cumming who flops on it gratefully.

A better contact and that was 1-1. You can tell why Stoke have only managed three league goals in nearly five games this season.

    Four minutes added.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 14 September

    Millwall 0-1 Luton

Millwall substitute Calum Scanlon puts in a successful challenge on Alfie Doughty and the midfielder replies in kind by pulling Scanlon to ground.

The yellow card is brought out for Doughty and is accepted with a wave of the hand.

  20. Postpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 14 September

    Leeds 0-1 Burnley

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

Leeds have been the better team and that one slip and not putting chances away has cost us.

Burnley in credit to them defensively have been solid and they will be quite happy with that.

It is just the final third its so congested and difficult to break them down.
