    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

It's really nervy, poor defending from Plymouth these last few minutes and their goalkeeper Dan Grimshaw is doing a lot of work.

You can hear some booing from the home fans; they're not happy at all.

  2. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Bristol City

It's not been Ike Ugbo's season since he joined the Owls on a permanent deal in the summer after a good loan spell last season.

The striker is making his 26th league appearance of the season and is yet to score.

He's still plugging away though and sees a shot blocked after a brilliant run forward by Wednesday scorer Djeidi Gassama.

  3. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

Jaidon Anthony does well on the right to weave in and feed a ball to Zian Flemming who then carries the ball to the edge of the box and gets a shot away.

Plymouth keeper Dan Grimshaw gets down to his left to save but more signs of promise from the Clarets with their fourth shot on target so far.

Argyle haven't had a shot yet.

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

    Frank Nouble
Former Plymouth striker on BBC Radio Devon

Zian Flemming is the bright spark for Burnley.

I saw him play for Millwall; he's a complete player with a great shot on him.

  5. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

Nathanael Ogbeta tries to get a ball into the box from the left for Plymouth but Burnley's Connor Roberts is out well to close him down.

A reminder that Argyle are without Morgan Whittaker this evening, who is watching from the stands amid rumours of his move to tonight's opponents.

  7. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Leeds 1-0 Norwich

Dan James scurries down the right and tries to catch Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn out at his near post.

He makes good contact with the shot but it flies over the bar.

It's Gunn's 29th birthday today. His clean sheet lasted all of 31 seconds.

  8. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Portsmouth 2-1 Stoke

Stoke work a good opening and get it to Lewis Baker inside the box.

He fires a shot towards goal but it's well blocked by Portsmouth. This game is really opening up.

  9. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

The size of the task now facing Plymouth?

Well, Burnley have conceded just nine goals this season and are yet to let in more than a single goal in any game since... 19 May 2024 when they lost 2-1 at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

  10. 'Brilliant game'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Portsmouth 2-1 Stoke City

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at Fratton Park

It was an electric start by Portsmouth but Stoke have got themselves right back into this game.

The home support have quietened down a little and Stoke now look a much more confident side when they come forward.

    A brilliant game so far.

  11. Goal sums up Argyle's seasonpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

A superb finish by Zian Flemming, but that goal sums up Argyle's season in a nutshell - an error punished.

Victor Palsson tried to let the ball run out for a goal kick, decided late he couldn't due to Jaidon Anthony's pressure and his poor clearance went straight to Josh Brownhill.

That finish from Flemming from Brownhill's powerful cross was superb though.

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

    Steve Eyre
Former Manchester City coach on BBC Radio Lancashire

It's been a dominant start for Burnley and they have been rewarded for their efforts with a brilliant first goal.

We're really hoping for second and third goal to make it comfortable.

  13. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Leeds 1-0 Norwich

Norwich have not capitulated after going a goal down after just 31 seconds.

They're yet to force Illan Meslier into a real save but, at 1-0 down, they're still well in this match.

    Open encounter.

  14. 'Burnley cross was sublime'published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-1 Burnley

    Frank Nouble
Former Plymouth striker on BBC Radio Devon

The clearance from Victor Palsson is very poor, but you have to say that cross from the Josh Brownhill is sublime.

Burnley are now the confident side and Plymouth need to make sure they don't let in another.

    Stoke pull one back!

The Potters work a short corner well and Josh Wilson-Esbrand, who gave away the penalty for Portsmouth's opener, pings in a fantastic ball to the back post.

It's met by Ben Wilmot, who was at fault for Pompey's second, who heads brilliantly back across goal and into the far corner.

Two Stoke defenders combine to make amends for their earlier errors and the visitors are back in this game.

  16. goal

    Burnley take the lead!

Victor Palsson gives the ball away deep inside the Plymouth half and it goes straight to Josh Brownhill on the right.

Brownhill hammers a ball into the box and Zian Flemming is there to divert home brilliantly on the volley.

Great start for the Clarets, not ideal for the Championship's bottom side.

  17. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Bristol City

The away side get down the other end after some pressure from the hosts and Scott Twine sees a shot deflect behind for a corner.

Big centre-back Rob Dickie meets the ball into the middle but can't keep his effort on target.

  18. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Portsmouth 2-0 Stoke

Lewis Baker lets fly from about 25 yards for Stoke and his effort flies narrowly wide. A little better from the Potters but they're going to need a lot more of that kind of intent to try and get back in this.

  19. 'Burnley need to score several'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Burnley

    Steve Eyre
Former Manchester City coach on BBC Radio Lancashire

This is a rare chance to play aganst a side lower down in the table of the table side, so Burnley will need to punish Plymouth and score several rather than squeeze out another tight result as they have been against their promotion rivals.

  20. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Plymouth 0-0 Burnley

Burnley with the first moment of attacking threat in this one. Zian Flemming gets the ball inside the left channel in the Plymouth box and tries to cut it back across the face of goal but it's blocked and goes behind for a corner.

It comes out to Connor Roberts who floats a ball to the back stick for Lyle Foster who heads straight at Plymouth keeper Dan Grimshaw.
