    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

Well, this is the first time, as a Leicester fan, that I've been happy with the lack of VAR in the Championship, with previous decisions seemingly going against us. That handball was indeed just outside the box and VAR would have denied us.

Neil Maddison says it's a poor Leicester side - most Leicester supporters would agree [but] they are beating you at the moment

    Ipswich 1-1 Watford

Ipswich's George Hirst is the first home player cautioned by referee David Webb.

  3. CLOSE!published at 21:02 GMT 4 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Blackburn

A glimpse of Bristol City as an attacking threat as first Scott Twine sees a trademark free-kick cannon off the wall for a corner, which Twine takes himself only for Rob Dickie's header to flash wide of Balazs Toth's upright.

  4. Postpublished at 21:02 GMT 4 November

    Ipswich 1-1 Watford

Chuba Akpom tests the reflexes of Watford goalkeeper Egil Selvik but he's equal to the effort and palms it away.

Both these sides are inside the top 10 at the start of play with the play-offs within sight - who wants it more?

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:00 GMT 4 November

    Charlton 0-0 West Brom

    Keepers earning their corn tonight.

First Thomas Kaminski does brilliantly to prevent Isaac Price dinking the ball over him from an angle after an intelligent step-over from Samuel Iling-Junior at one end, then down the other Josh Griffiths does brilliantly to get down to Sonny Carey's low skidder from range, tipping it up and around his right post at full-stretch.

Price might have been better to square that you know... he's spurned a couple of good openings already tonight.

  6. 'One of the worst Leicester sides'published at 21:00 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Neil Maddison
Former Middlesbrough midfielder on BBC Tees

This is one of the worst looking Leicester City sides I have seen in a long time.

  7. Postpublished at 20:59 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

Morgan Whittaker whips a shot at the Leicester goal but it's too high and Leicester breathe easy.

Middlesbrough have started well in the second 45.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:58 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

Leicester's Jordan James is into the book for a foul.

    No complaints there.

  9. 'Intrigued to see how we defend this lead'published at 20:55 GMT 4 November

    HT: Coventry 0-1 Sheffield United

    Carl Asaba
Former Sheffield United striker on BBC Radio Sheffield

I think it has been a really even game, we have given as good as we have got.

A couple shots have been blocked.

Chris (Wilder) needs to speak to them as a lot of our mistakes have been down to our poor decisions.

Can we continue to show the promise we showed in that first half.

I am delighted we are leading but intrigued to see how we defend this lead.

  10. goal

GOAL Derby 1-1 Hull Citypublished at 20:55 GMT 4 November

    Joe Ndala (50 mins)

    The Tigers roar back.

Home goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has just had to deny Matt Crooks but now he's picking the ball out of the net.

Joel Ndala can't miss from close range for the first league goal of his career.

  11. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 3-0 Millwallpublished at 20:55 GMT 4 November

    Alex Cochraine (49 mins)

Alex Cochrane fires in Birmingham's third against MillwallImage source, PA Media

Blues won 4-0 on Saturday... they couldn't do it again, could they?

    What a hit this is.

Patrick Roberts glides down the right, the ball is pulled back and crossed into the box, Millwall manage to head clear but only to the lurking Alex Cochrane 25 yards out to unleash an absolute rocket through the St Andrew's murk which flies past Max Crocombe and almost breaks the net.

Thunderbolt, and the Championship's last remaining unbeaten away run is 40-odd minutes away from ending.

We had a light show and fireworks before kick off but it’s the away side who’ve been the brighter on the pitch.

Sam McCallum may have his hands up for a ‘no celeb’ celebration after bundling home on 25 minutes but it’s a huge goal for Sheffield United.

Blades fans would have been forgiven for thinking about what could have been after losing the play-off final and now seeing fellow Premier League dreamers Coventry at the top.

Sheffield United have been good value though. They certainly don’t look like they’re in the relegation zone.

The warning signs are there though, Haji Wright should have headed home in first half stoppage time.

Coventry yet to fully hit their stride, I expect a rocket from Lampard at the break.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:54 GMT 4 November

    Charlton 0-0 West Brom

West Brom back on the front-foot after the turnaround but after some good approach play from Aune Heggebo and Isaac Price, Samuel Iling-Junior curls wide of Thomas Kaminski's post from the edge of the box.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:54 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

Leicester are having to make a change in goal.

Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, at the age of 38, is on for his Leicester debut and first senior game since April 2024.

Jakub Stolarczyk has had to go off for the home side.

  15. goal

GOAL: Oxford 0-3 Stokepublished at 20:50 GMT 4 November

    Lewis Baker (48 mins)

Junior Tchamadeu sent clear down the right wing for Stoke.

He has the power to get himself into the penalty area and then cuts a pass back to Lewis Baker.

His first shot is blocked but the rebound is safely tucked away.

Baker's second and have Stoke already sealed another three points?

Believe it or not, we're back underway in out 19:45 GMT kick-offs... though they're running more than seven minutes behind at Ashton Gate, be warned...

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:48 GMT 4 November

    Coventry 0-1 Sheffield United

Another corner for the Blades in stoppage time.

Again to the near post - and again Ben Mee there first to flick on.

But this time it's cleared away.

Coventry break and a ball in from the left is met by Haji Wright but stretching he can't get a good contact on his header and it loops slowly into the arms of Michael Cooper.

Sam McCallum with the goal that separates the sides at the break.

  18. Get Involvedpublished at 20:45 GMT 4 November

    HT: Bristol City 0-1 Blackburn

It has been a slow start to the season, but Blackburn Rovers are finally waking up. Playing tidy football and pressing brilliantly. Ohashi and Morishita look superb finds.

    Coley, Preston

  19. Postpublished at 20:44 GMT 4 November

    Coventry 0-1 Sheffield United

Slick move down the right from United.

A low cross comes in and finds Sydie Peck.

He takes a good touch and fires with his right boot.

But Bobby Thomas makes an excellent block for Coventry and the ball bobbles into the goalkeeper's arms.

  20. Get Involvedpublished at 20:44 GMT 4 November

    HT: Oxford 0-2 Stoke

Time for Stoke fans to genuinely get excited at a promotion tilt? Saturday at home to Coventry will be the big one but a win at Oxford would be superb.
