  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:39 GMT 4 November

    Bristol City 0-1 Blackburn

Blackburn's Yuki Ohashi finishes past Bristol City goalkeeper Radek VitekImage source, Shutterstock

It looked like the lead would never come, but it arrived deep into added time.

Rovers created plenty of openings and drawn a couple of good saves from Radek Vitek, through Yuki Ohashi and Sondre Tronstad in particular, but the deadlock remained intact until seconds before the break when Yuki Ohashi turned in from close range.

A far easier team-talk for Valerien Ismael now, bit work for Gerhard Struber to do.

  2. Postpublished at 20:39 GMT 4 November

    Coventry 0-1 Sheffield United

The hosts build down the left and Jay Dasilva slips into the box.

He sends a dangerous cross-cum-shot across the face of goal but no-one is there to turn home at the back post.

Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is then booked for City for a lunge near halfway.

But not before the referee waved play on and a teasing ball to the back post was just nicked away for a corner.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough

A bizarre ending to that first period which has handed (literally) the home side the lead.

You'll need to ask Hayden Hackney why he seemingly needlessly handled the ball in the Middlesbrough area in stoppage time.

It was tight whether it was in the box or not but referee Adam Herczeg checked with his assistant and Jordan Ayew converted the penalty.

Caleb Okoli had earlier missed a huge chance for Leicester when failing to make contact with a Luke Thomas free kick with only Sol Brynn to beat.

  4. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 0-1 Blackburnpublished at 20:36 GMT 4 November

    Yuki Ohashi (45+5 mins)

    On the stroke of half-time.

It's Rovers' Japanese connection as Ryoya Morishita gets away from Haydon Roberts on the right, drives into the box and fizzes in a low cross which is turned in at the near post by Yuki Ohashi.

    The least they deserved.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 GMT 4 November

    Ipswich 1-1 Watford

Jaden Philogene celebrates with Ipswich team-mate George HirstImage source, Getty Images

Imran Louza put Watford ahead only for Jaden Philogene to level matters within five minutes for their respective sixth goals of the season.

It's entertaining enough between two sides who have been climbing the table.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 GMT 4 November

    Birmingham 2-0 Millwall

Birmingham's Paik Seung-ho blows a kiss in celebrationImage source, Shutterstock

Looking very much like back-to-back wins incoming for Blues and Millwall's unbeaten away run coming to an end.

Paik Seung-Ho's fierce low shot from the edge of the box just before the half-hour was followed by Demarai Gray's close-range finish from Jay Stansfield's low cross and Millwall boss Alex Neil has a conundrum to solve.

  7. goal

GOAL Leicester 1-0 Middlesbroughpublished at 20:35 GMT 4 November

    Jordan Ayew (45 + 4 mins)

    No doubt.

Jordan Ayew, with a short approach, rolls the ball into corner with Sol Brynn diving the wrong way.

  8. PENALTYpublished at 20:34 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 0-0 Middlesbrough

Handball in the Middlesbrough area by Hayden Hackney - penalty to Leicester in stoppage time!

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 GMT 4 November

    Oxford 0-2 Stoke

Lewis Baker and Steven Nzonzi, with his first goal for 10 years, give Stoke a very cosy half-time lead.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 GMT 4 November

    Charlton 0-0 West Brom

The Baggies have had the better of it, but Isaac Price has missed a good chance to break the deadlock, while Greg Docherty saw his penalty saved by Josh Griffiths at the other end after Ousmane Diakite was perhaps harshly penalised for handball in the box.

  11. Postpublished at 20:33 GMT 4 November

    Oxford 0-2 Stoke

Chance for Oxford late in the half as Przemysław Płacheta is found with a low ball at the back post.

But he sends a scudding shot well wide!

  12. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 2-0 Millwallpublished at 20:32 GMT 4 November

    Demarai Gray (45 mins)

Clinical... and what a time to get the second goal, on the stroke of half-time.

Jay Stansfield picks up the ball and plays a lovely exchange of passes on the right of the Lions box before firing in a perfect low cut-back into the middle for Demarai Gray to fire home from close range.

Incisive stuff, if not the best defending.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 GMT 4 November

    Derby 1-0 Hull City

Derby scorer Carlton Morris celebratesImage source, Shutterstock

Carlton Morris' fifth goal in three games separates the sides with the Derby skipper heading home Joe Ward's corner.

The visitors hit the bar through Matt Crooks but they've lost their past five midweek away fixtures without scoring - a bit of work to do.

  14. Postpublished at 20:30 GMT 4 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Blackburn

Another cross from Blackburn, from Ryan Hedges, another header, from Ryoya Morishita, another effort which sails over the top.

Rovers will be kicking themselves that they have nothing to show for their positive first half performance.

  15. 'An easy side-foot finish'published at 20:29 GMT 4 November

    Coventry 0-1 Sheffield United

    Rob Gurney
    BBC Radio CWR Sport

A near-post low corner, flicked on well for an easy side-foot finish.

Struggling Sheffield United, to the delight of their travelling fans, have the lead.

  16. Postpublished at 20:28 GMT 4 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Blackburn

Bristol City fans pay tribute to Marvin BrownImage source, Getty Images

On 42 minutes Ashton Gate began to ring with applause in the memory of former Bristol City forward Marvin Brown who died from cancer last week at the age of just 42.

Brown became the Championship club's youngest-ever player when he made his debut in September 1999 aged 16 years and 71 days.

He went on to play 26 times for the Robins before joining Forest Green Rovers and later represented Tamworth, Yeovil and Salisbury, also working as a youth coach in his native Bristol, founding Total Pro Soccer in the city.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:27 GMT 4 November

    Charlton 0-0 West Brom

Albion back on the front foot, as they have been for most of the half, and Isaac Price is played in behind the defence, only to bear down from the right of goal and pull his shot across the face of Thomas Kaminski's goal.

    Big chance goes begging.

  18. goal

GOAL: Coventry 0-1 Sheffield Unitedpublished at 20:26 GMT 4 November

    Sam McCallum (25 mins)

United force their second corner of the game.

Swung in from the right, an awkward low ball is flicked on superbly by Ben Mee stooping low.

He gives his teammates a chance in the thick of it and Sam McCallum gets there first to swung a left-foot shot into the roof of the net!

Against his old club McCallum gives United the lead against the run of play.

  19. Postpublished at 20:24 GMT 4 November

    Leicester 0-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are dominating the ball with 64% possession but have had only fleeting glances at goal.

Matt Targett's shot which was saved is the closest they have come.

Leicester aren't helping themselves by giving away the ball when they do have it.

  20. 'You can see the confidence'published at 20:22 GMT 4 November

    Coventry 0-0 Sheffield United

    Adam Oxley
    BBC Radio Sheffield

You can certainly see the confidence in this Coventry City line-up after the excellent start to the season they have had.
