I have just heard an inspiring and determined story from Connie (right) around the 'Red' campaign that includes today's front of shirt Manchester United sponsorship.
Connie Mudenda (left) was born in Zambia and is now 55 years of age. When she was 20, she was diagnosed with HIV and has lived with the infection ever since.
She recounted that three of her children died of HIV because there was no available treatment.
The likelihood is that if she had lived in western Europe, they would have survived.
Connie now has a 12-year-old daughter, Lubona, who will be a mascot at today's game and is HIV free.
The point being made is that 'Red' is using the profile of big business, and sporting organisations like United to raise awarness of health injustice and try to do something to eradicate it.
"This not just a problem for Africa, it is a global issue," she said.
"The fight against HIV injustice is going to be heard by a lot of people."
