  1. 'Red' battle against health injusticepublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 11 May

Man Utd v West Ham (14:15 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport chief football news reporter at Old Trafford

I have just heard an inspiring and determined story from Connie (right) around the 'Red' campaign that includes today's front of shirt Manchester United sponsorship.

Connie Mudenda (left) was born in Zambia and is now 55 years of age. When she was 20, she was diagnosed with HIV and has lived with the infection ever since.

She recounted that three of her children died of HIV because there was no available treatment.

The likelihood is that if she had lived in western Europe, they would have survived.

Connie now has a 12-year-old daughter, Lubona, who will be a mascot at today's game and is HIV free.

The point being made is that 'Red' is using the profile of big business, and sporting organisations like United to raise awarness of health injustice and try to do something to eradicate it.

"This not just a problem for Africa, it is a global issue," she said.

"The fight against HIV injustice is going to be heard by a lot of people."

  2. 'We want to have this positive stress'published at 14:07 British Summer Time 11 May

Tottenham v Crystal Palace (14:15 BST)

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace may be forgiven if this game is not at the top of their list of priorities right now.

The Eagles make the short trip over to Tottenham, just six days before taking on Man City in the FA Cup final but boss Oliver Glasner says it's "business as usual".

"We want to play the final. We want to have this positive stress. There is a lot of positive energy we can get from it. This is what we can show at Tottenham. Again, the better our performance is at Tottenham, the better our confidence will be for the final."

  3. Spurs return to domestic action after European successpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 11 May

Tottenham v Crystal Palace (14:15 BST)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham have been absolutely awful in the Premier League but they are now Europa League finalists, who'd have thought that?!

Anyway, after booking their spot in the final on Thursday night, it's back to domestic football for Spurs as Crystal Palace travel across London.

Spurs welcome skipper Son Heung-min back into the fold as he recovers from a foot injury ahead of the European final.

  4. We can't save anything in the Premier League - Amorimpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 11 May

Man Utd v West Ham (14:15 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport chief football news reporter at Old Trafford

The highest Manchester United can finish this season is 12th. They could sneak up to 13th today if they record a substantial victory - although they have only beaten Ipswich and Leicester in the league since 26 January.

It is something to aim for at least, although head coach Ruben Amorim doesn't quite see it like that.

"We can't save anything from the Premier League," he said.

"But we do have to acknowledge we are Manchester United - and we need to win games."

  5. West Ham's woeful runpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 11 May

Man Utd v West Ham (14:15 BST)

West Ham are destined for their worst Premier League finish since ending up bottom in the 2010-11 season.

They are on an eight-game winless run, and at Old Trafford they haven't won in four visits since a Manuel Lanzini goal helped them advanced to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup in 2021.

  6. What to expect from Man Utdpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 11 May

Man United v West Ham (14:15 BST)

Manchester United are playing in their first home game since beating Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League semi-finals.

They've made six changes but have still gone with a strong line-up. Mason Mount and Amad Diallo are some of those given starts.

A big win for United could move them up to 13th; the highest they can finish this season is 12th.

Lose, and United could end the weekend 17th.

  7. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 11 May

Right, we can't dawdle today. We've got three 14:15 BST to bring you and very little time to build up to them.

    Wish us luck!

  8. 'Jackson has cost Chelsea this game'published at 14:01 British Summer Time 11 May

    FT: Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at St James' Park

Nicolas Jackson will have his head in his hands right now. Chelsea have been in complete control in this second half and you have to think that with 11 men, and more importantly a striker on the pitch, they would have got something from this.

Jackson has cost them this game and what else has he cost them this season?

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

Huge cheers from the Newcastle fans as the final whistle sounds!

Eddie Howe's side have taken a huge three points to move up to third in the table and move to the brink of Champions League qualification.

Sandro Tonali put them in front in the second minute and Chelsea's hopes then suffered a real blow when Nicolas Jackson was shown a straight red card for an elbow on Sven Botman.

A nervy second half followed before Bruno Guimaraes made sure of the points for Newcastle late on.

  10. 'Newcastle have found a way to win'published at 13:59 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

There will be anger on the pitch among the Chelsea players now because they were in this game and doing so well.

You can talk about the statistics and so on but with two games left of the season and Newcastle have found a way to win.

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Its killed it, hasn't it? He gets a little bit of luck with the deflection.

It leaves the goalkeeper absolutely no chance. It loops right over him into the top corner.

That's game over and a valuable three points for Newcastle.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

We're well into five added minutes now as Newcastle make a double change.

Bruno Guimaraes gets a great ovation as he heads off having clinched three big points for the hosts, Alexander Isak follows him off.

On come Sean Longstaff and Callum Wilson.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

The Newcastle fans were nervous for a while but they're triumphant now.

There's more tetchiness on the pitch, though, and Chelsea centre-back Levi Colwill is the latest to be shown a yellow card.

  15. 'Newcastle have done it by the skin of their teeth'published at 13:55 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at St James' Park

Newcastle have hardly been up the pitch and Bruno Guimaraes has done very little. But there he is standing in the corner like a roman emperor holding up the corner flag having scored a worldie.

Statistics will say 2-0 but Newcastle have done it by the skin of their teeth, and Chelsea will be gutted.

    Bruno Guimaraes (90mins)

    That'll do it!

The free-kick is floated across to the left-hand side, Dan Burn shifts it inside to Bruno Guimaraes and the Newcastle skipper tries his luck from the corner of the box.

The shot takes a big deflection and loops beyond Robert Sanchez into the far corner.

Newcastle are closing in on a place in next season's Champions League.

  17. 'What a chance for James'published at 13:53 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

Oh dear me, what a chance. He can't believe it. It's a lovely move. I think he tries to flick it going into the top corner.

Will they get a better chance before the end of the game? I'm not sure.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

There's a bit of a scuffle after another foul from Moises Caicedo.

The Chelsea midfielder manages to avoid a booking yet again but Emil Krafth is shown a yellow card for his part in the pushing and shoving that followed.

  19. CLOSE!published at 13:51 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

    What a chance for Chelsea!

Superb move with Reece James involved throughout and he is the man at the end of it too.

A great ball in from the right, James is unmarked but heads over the bar.

Was that the chance for the Blues?

  20. 'Chelsea deserve a point'published at 13:51 British Summer Time 11 May

    Newcastle 1-0 Chelsea

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at St James' Park

This game very much looks like ten men versus eleven but unfortunately for Newcastle they look like the side down to ten.

Chelsea have by far been the better side this second half. Maresca changed it to a 3-3-3 formation, which you don't normally see, but it has worked.

Newcastle look out on their feet and Chelsea deserve a point.
