  2. Mubama debut for Man City; two changes for Salfordpublished at 17:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

Man City v Salford City (17:45 GMT)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

Former West Ham FA Youth Cup winner Divin Mubama is handed his senior Manchester City debut by manager Pep Guardiola in one of nine changes to the side for the FA Cup tie with League Two Salford.

Nathan Ake and Savinho are the only players to keep their places from last week’s Premier League victory over the Hammers.

Guardiola names only two orthodox defenders, in Ake and James Simpson-Pusey. Jamie McAtee and Nico O’Reilly both make their first starts since October.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Simpson-Pusey, Ake, Nunes, Gundogan, O’Reilly, McAtee, Doku, Grealish, Savinho, Mubama. Substitutes: Ortega, Lewis, Gvardiol, Akanji, De Bruyne, Kovacic, Bernardo Silva, Foden, Haaland.

Salford manager Karl Robinson makes two changes to his starting line-up, with veteran midfielder Matty Lund and 21-year-old on-loan striker Kylian Kouassi both included for the League Two promotion hopefuls.

Stephan Negru has returned to his parent club Oxford.

Salford City XI: Young, Shepherd, Garbutt, Tilt, Mnoga, Lund, Berkoe, Ashley, Fornah, Kouassi, Adelakun. Substitutes: Jones, Watson, Stockton, Taylor, Chester, McAlney, Malcolm, Heys, Wright.
