  4. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 3-0 Accrington Stanleypublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Jayden Danns (76 mins)

He's definitely got something, Jayden Danns! He does really well to nick the ball high up the pitch and wriggle out of a tackle before sending Federico Chiesa in on goal. The Italian's shot is saved but runs kindly for Danns to sweep into the roof of the net at the Kop end.

    Very tidy finish.

Impressed with Liverpool's use of the FA Cup to manage their squad. A few senior squad players mixed with some youngsters and players returning from injury. Sure Accrington have caused Liverpool problems but that's to be expected.

This Liverpool defence is so sleepy. Getting caught out time and time again by a struggling league 2 side. May not be starters but couple of injuries and Liverpool's title charge could falter.

  20. Why are there no replays?published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

This is the first season with no FA Cup replays from the first round onwards.

They were originally phased out from the fifth round a couple of years ago but the change was made last April with the FA saying the move has been made "in light of changes to the calendar driven by the expanded Uefa competitions."

Ties will go to extra time if the scores are level at 90 minutes and then go to penalties if needed.
