Accrington Stanley have started well but make the mistake of winning a free-kick in a dangerous area. When the ball is cleared suddenly Liverpool have a counter on the cards and they are masters of that craft. Trent Alexander-Arnold sends Darwin Nunez away down the right channel and he squares it for a tap-in for Diogo Jota.

Ngumoha does not look out of place at all. And defenders are swarming him, signalling his danger. They are only League Two, but they are a team with experienced players. He's 16 and doesn't look out of his depth at all.

I know it’s early days in this match, but already Nunez has had a couple of squandered chances, the second being much easier than the first. Not a fan of Darwin, and the early wasted opportunities have just confirmed why. How Liverpool stick with him is beyond me.
