  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Patrick Bamford is on for just his 13th appearance of the season for Leeds, all of which have been from the bench.

Wilfried Gnonto and Brenden Aaronson make way and Isaac Schmidt is also on for the Whites.

About now would probably be an ideal time for Bamford to net his first goal of the league season.

Preston make a change of their own too, bringing Will Keane on for Jayden Meghoma.

GOAL: Plymouth 1-1 Sheff Utdpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 12 April

    Ryan Hardie (81 mins)

It's a poacher's goal from a master poacher and Argyle are level!

From the corner on the right hand side, the ball bounces around and captain Joe Edwards attempts a bicycle towards the goal.

His effort falls to Ryan Hardie who instinctively turns the ball home with his in step six yards out to send Home Park absolutely barmy.

    All square here!

  3. Postpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

It goes without saying this will be a big three points for Leeds if they see it out. It'll be two wins on the bounce for the first time since winning five in a row in February.

  4. CHANCEpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Oh, what an opening for the hosts to level the scores.

Mustapha Bundu bears down on goal after getting himself in front of Blades captain Jack Robinson.

Bundu checks inside beating Robinson but back comes United midfielder Vinicius Souza who makes an absolutely superb recovery challenge from behind and the ball goes out for a corner with many inside Home Park appealing for a penalty.

  5. CLOSE!published at 14:06 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Leeds break away on the counter and eventually work it to Joel Piroe just inside the box on the right.

He cuts further inside and then fires a low effort towards the near post but it's a couple of yards wide.

15 minutes plus stoppages to go.

  6. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

The Blades win a corner and it is beautifully whipped in by the left boot of Harrison Burrows but is well dealt with by Ryan Hardie who heads out for another corner, this time on the other side of the pitch, which is well punched away by Conor Hazard.

Hazard has commanded his area well today.

  7. Postpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Ben Whiteman hammers the free-kick from the edge of the box on target for Preston but Leeds' Brenden Aaronson does well to deflect it behind for a corner.

  8. 'Not been free-flowing'published at 14:04 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheff Utd

    Danny Hall
Sheffield Star journalist on BBC Radio Sheffield

It doesn't really matter how you get the points at this stage in the season, as long as you get them, that's what's important.

It's not been a free-flowing performance from Sheffield United, but we'll see how the rest of the games goes.

  9. Postpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Ex-Argyle keeper Michael Cooper is down for the Blades and is receiving treatment at the moment, seemingly going down with cramp.

A goalkeeper going down with cramp, is that a genuine injury or is Cooper looking to run down the clock a little bit - I'll let you make your own minds up on that one.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Preston are just putting together a couple of attacks for the first time in about 20 minutes.

They launch a long ball forward and Leeds keeper Karl Darlow comes steaming a very long way out of his goal and punches the ball clear from outside the box in bizarre fashion!

A free-kick in a very promising position about 20 yards out for Preston.

  11. Postpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Good play from Argyle sees Bali Mumba get down the left hand side and he fires a ball across the face of the box but it is excellently dealt with by the United defence.

  12. CLOSE!published at 13:59 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Not sure how many times we can say Leeds should be 3-1 up...

Joe Rodon meets the corner from the left but makes a hash of the finish from close range and it rolls towards Ilia Gruev about three yards out but he can't react in time and it just bounces off him and goes behind, trickling agonisingly wide.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

    Triple change for the Blades!

Kieffer Moore, Femi Seriki and Ben Brereton Diaz are all on and have replaced Tom Cannon, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Harry Clarke for the last 25 minutes.

  14. Postpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Joel Piroe spins in the area for Leeds and does well to recycle it and tee up Manor Solomon just inside the box.

Solomon's low effort towards the near post is well saved by David Cornell and goes behind for a corner.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Oh, what a chance for Argyle to equalise.

A wicked free-kick from Adam Randell is only partially dealt with by Sheffield United and the ball lands invitingly at the feet of Ryan Hardie - the man you would want on the end of it.

He hits the ball into the ground with his effort and the ball bounces up and hits the crossbar and out for a goal-kick.

BIG let off for the Blades.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Preston are making their first changes of the afternoon. Robbie Brady and Jordan Storey are withdrawn.

Emil Riis and Ryan Porteous are on.

  17. 'Nice stuff from Leeds'published at 13:55 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

There's some really nice stuff here from Leeds. We've had all of the ball in the past 10 minutes.

Both full-backs are committing forward, driving with the ball, it's lovely to see.

  18. Postpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Leeds full-back Jayden Bogle floats a lovely ball in from the right to the back stick and Joel Piroe gets a touch on it with his head but it goes out for a goal-kick.

That was a very tough chance in fairness and probably not a lot more Piroe could have done.

Almost midway through the second half and Leeds are utterly dominant.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Seconds into arriving on to the field, Muhamed Tijani flicks the ball around Harry Clarke who goes diving straight into the Nigerian forward and is correctly cautioned.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Second change for the hosts and Muhamed Tijani is on for the last half hour, replacing the ineffective Callum Wright.
