  1. Postpublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Junior Firpo combines wonderfully with Brendon Aaronson to work his way into the box but the left-back's effort is well blocked in the area.

This game is being played mostly at one end of the pitch at the moment...

  2. Postpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

It's comfortable at the moment for the Blades with Argyle continuously going long with back to front balls from goalkeeper Conor Hazard.

From one such situation, Mustapha Bundu does manage to flick the ball on but it is just too far in front of Ryan Hardie and ex-Argyle keeper Michael Cooper gathers comfortably.

  3. Postpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Joel Piroe has a shotImage source, PA Media

Joel Piroe is without a league goal in his past seven games for Leeds and he's missed three or four very presentable opportunities today. Just not going for the Dutchman at the moment.

Leeds will have major regrets if they don't go on to win this. They should be out of sight.

  4. CHANCEpublished at 13:49 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

And from the resulting corner, Anel Ahmedhodzic rises highest to meet the ball but his header is easily held by Argyle keeper Conor Hazard.

  5. 'Leeds should be clear'published at 13:47 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

    Adam Pope
    BBC Radio Leeds commentator

I'm waiting for the net to ripple and it's hit the bar. It's just not been Piroe's day today.

Somehow Leeds are only 2-1 in front, we should be well clear by now. Let's just hope this doesn't come back to haunt Leeds.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Blimey... Leeds should have found that elusive third!

Manor Solomon slides it across the face of goal from the left and Joel Piroe hammers an effort off the crossbar from about four yards. Big miss to be honest.

Moments later, Wilfried Gnonto gets on the end of another cross but slices over the top.

  7. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Sheffield United have taken the sting out of Argyle's good start to the second half and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi gets to the line but he is well tackled by Julio Pleguezuelo and the ball goes out for a corner to the visitors.

Good wing play by Rak-Sayki matched by good defending from the Spanish defender.

  8. Postpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Kaine Kesler-Hayden is back on his feet and looks like he'll be okay to continue for preston for now.

Leeds are just trying to build more pressure again in the final third. The Whites will be desperate to find a third to settle any nerves here.

  9. Postpublished at 13:44 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Preston's Kaine Kesler-Hayden has gone down on halfway and looks to be in some discomfort. Just a break in play while he receives attention from the phsyio.

  10. CLOSE!published at 13:43 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

In similar fashion to the first period, it's all action in the opening stages of this half!

Leeds' Joel Piroe is played in left of centre and runs onto it before firing a low left-footed effort towards the far corner but it's just wide of the upright.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:41 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

    Brilliant save from Conor Hazard!

An outstanding turn and pass in midfield from Sydie Peck allows Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to bear down on goal.

He looks to score a carbon-copy of his opening goal but his effort is superbly kept out by Argyle's Hazard who keeps the match at 1-0.

Quality shown by both sides there.

  12. 'Brilliant save Darlow'published at 13:41 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

    Andy Bayes
    Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire

What a brilliant save from Darlow.

I just wonder if was a fraction too close to the goalkeeper, without being too harsh on Whiteman.

It's a positive start from North End.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:40 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Preston work the corner really well from the right as Robbie Brady plays it flat along the deck to the edge of the box and Ben Whiteman hits a powerful first time effort.

It's flying towards the back of the net but Karl Darlow leaps to his left to parry it away brilliantly.

Just a bit of a warning sign for Leeds, who were dominant in that first period without putting clear daylight between themselves and Preston.

  14. Postpublished at 13:39 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Three minutes into the second half and no goals but Preston have made a decent start.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden tries to get on the end of a cross to the back stick but it's deflected behind for a corner to the visitors.

  15. Postpublished at 13:38 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Argyle win their first corner of the game 30 seconds into the second half but Adam Randell's delivery is poor and doesn't beat the first man.

The hosts then launch a throw into the box and Ryan Hardie almost gets on the end of it before the ball is scrambled clear by United.

I would argue we've seen more of an attacking threat from Argyle in the first minute of the second half than we saw in the whole of the first.

  16. Postpublished at 13:36 British Summer Time 12 April

    Leeds 2-1 Preston

Three goals in 13 minutes at the start of the the first half and just 107 seconds between the first Leeds goal and Preston's leveller.

Will we see more chaos in the opening stages of this second period?

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 12 April

    Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Half-time change for Argyle and Nathanael Ogbeta is replaced by club captain Joe Edwards who gets a great reception by the Green Army.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 12 April

    #bbcefl

We're off and running again for the second half at Elland Road and Home Park.

Will the promotion-chasers both see out the wins?

  19. Postpublished at 13:32 British Summer Time 12 April

We've still got eight games to come at 15:00 BST.

We'll look ahead to those once we're done at Elland Road and Home Park.

  20. As it stands at the bottom...published at 13:28 British Summer Time 12 April

    HT: Plymouth 0-1 Sheff Utd

Plymouth will probably need to take something from this game or it might be curtains.

But as ex-Plymouth Ladies captain Katie Middleton just mentioned on BBC Radio Devon... they haven't really created anything.
