Burnley should really be 1-0 up. Jaidon Anthony does brilliantly to get in behind and cut it back for Josh Brownhill.

The Clarets skipper is about nine yards out unmarked and smashes it first time over the bar.

What a massive chance that was to take the lead.

It will be just one win in six for Middlesbrough if this stays the same, albeit they've had a tough run of games playing Leeds and Burnley twice.

The Clarets will see their three-game winning streak come to an end but could make it 11 games undefeated with a draw.

Would both sides take a point at this stage?

Thomas Glover has had quite a quiet evening in the Middlesbrough net, there's not been much for him to deal with.

Michael Carrick makes a double change for Boro.

Ben Doak and Delano Burgzorg are withdrawn. On come Isaiah Jones and Riley McGree.

Burnley full-back Connor Roberts drifts one in behind the Boro backline and Josh Laurent makes an acrobatic attempt to try and get on the end of it but can only head wide.

That was a very difficult chance in fairness.

It's great play from Ben Doak on that right-hand side. The keeper did well to push away the effort from Azaz.

Boro's Finn Azaz stings the palms of Burnley keeper James Trafford.

Azaz cuts inside and fires towards goal, forcing Trafford into a good save.

Hannibal Mejbri's last action of the game was to win that free-kick for Burnley. He's been replaced by Brighton loanee Jeremy Sarmiento.

It's just getting a little more end-to-end now... Jaidon Anthony fires over for Burnley and then at the other end, Neto Borges swings in a cross from the left for Boro which is cut out by Clarets stopper James Trafford.

I think there's a goal coming, the game is just starting to get a bit stretched. Will fatigue play its part here?

A tale of two errors... Burnley defender Bashir Humphreys slips on the edge of the box, allowing Anfernee Dijksteel to get to the byeline... but Dijksteel runs it straight out of play.

Boro's Hayden Hackney brings down Hannibal Mejbri just inside his own half as Burnley looked to launch a quick counter but gets away without a booking.

On second watch, Burnley skipper Josh Brownhill might be frustrated he didn't catch that shot more cleanly. He scuffed it a little bit which just gave Dael Fry more of a chance to block.

That's a great block from Dael Fry, it hits his chest and goes out for a corner ball. It's not handball.

Wow, it looks for all the world as if Burnley are about to go one up but Boro centre-back Dael Fry blocks excellently from Josh Brownhill's effort.

The ball dropped to Brownhill about 10 yards out after Tom Glover tried to punch clear but Fry was there to prevent an almost certain goal.

Finn Azaz fizzes one through a crowd of bodies from distance for Boro but it's straight at James Trafford in the Burnley goal.

Oh, Emmanuel Latte Lath... Boro steal it off Burnley high up and get it to the striker in the box, but he stands on the ball before he can get a shot away.
