GOAL: Derby 0-1 Leedspublished at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Brenden Aaronson (79 mins)

    Leeds finally break the deadlock!

It's a thing of real class this.

The away side keep the ball superbly and eventually step it up around the Rams area.

Manor Soloman pops a little pass into Joel Piroe and the Dutchman tees up a perfectly-weighted ball into the run of Brenden Aaronson who finishes with quality.

Leeds will end 2024 atop the Championship if this finishes as it is.

Should this end this way then Leeds will go back to the top of the table but possibly just for a couple of hours.

If this ends goalless and Burnley win at play-off chasing Middlesbrough it is the Clarets who will end 2024 at the Championship's summit.
