Where do we start?

As a neutral, what a game. As a Crystal Palace fan you'll be scratching your head. They started well and were 2-0 up and then could have been 4-0 up.

They then gave away that free-kick and City turned it around. I think Gvardiol would have been really pleased to see Mateta go off. I think that change made them worse.

Very good from Man City today.

Let's whizz through some reaction from the earlier games as we wait to hear what Mikel Arteta and Thomas Frank thought of that.

Captainbucky: The difference between Champions League and Premier League football is so different. Teams have a play to win mindset in the Champions league. In the Premier League the majority do a low block and the result is almost falling asleep!

Brentford

This is turning out to be another hugely satisfying season for Brentford, who are already a guaranteed a fifth successive campaign in the Premier League. Their best finish in the Premier League era is ninth. Will they beat that this season? The Bees are 11th with six games to play.

The goals were good and I have to say I enjoyed the game. There was some really good tactical play and some good passages from Arsenal where they worked the ball well. Brentford kept Arsenal on their toes and worked them until the end.

Thomas Frank will be delighted with his players. Arsenal won't be disappointed with the performance but they will be disappointed with the result.

Arsenal have won just two of their past seven Premier League games, taking 10 points from a possible 21.

Their thoughts now turn to the Champions League quarter-final second leg and finishing the job against Real Madrid on Wednesday after establishing a 3-0 first leg lead.

It could still be a glorious season for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal. Just not in the Premier League.

IF Liverpool beat West Ham at Anfield on Sunday and IF Arsenal lose at Ipswich in eight days, Liverpool will be crowned champions of England IF they win at Leicester on 20 April.

Great point for Brentford, more dropped points by Arsenal. Liverpool need nine points from seven games to wrap up the title.

A last throw of the dice...here comes Saka. Drilled wide.

Brilliant end to this game. That was simply incredible from Saka. He went by five or six players and Arsenal can't get enough in the box to be able to make it pay.

A cross by Gabriel Martinelli and an attempted headed clearance by Nathan Collins lands in the arms of goalkeeper by Mark Flekken.

It's all a bit frantic as both teams go for a winner. A darting move by Bukayo Saka inside the Brentford box but his attempt is blocked as he tries to create an opening.

Now Martin Odegaard is booked.

A minimum of six additional minutes as Brentford send on the fresh legs of Gustavo Nunes for skipper Christian Nørgaard.

Liverpool are nine points from the title as it stands. That will be down to six if they beat West Ham at home on Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how Arsenal approach this now, being a man down.

Are they going to push people up and leave themselves a bit exposed at the back?

With Arsenal down to 10 men, Brentford sense they could snatch a late winner. But they'll have to get a move on. Two minutes plus stoppages left.

Jorginho has gone straight up the tunnel and is walking quite gingerly. We will keep a close eye on that one and we hope he is OK.
