City were gifted a free-kick by Daichi Kamada in a dangerous position, which Kevin de Bruyne converted and Omar Marmoush then smashed in an equaliser.

What a chance. Kevin de Bruyne's first touch is remarkable but he has to then go low and hard with the shot across the goalkeeper. He just leans back as he hits it.

A great chance for Kevin de Bruyne.

Pep Guardiola has his hands on his head after De Bruyne breaks free into the penalty area, 12 yards out and at an angle, opts for power but can't keep the strike down and over the top it flies.

Crysyal Palace worked so hard to establish a two-goal lead and in the blink of an eye, it is gone.

There is not much structure about the past five minutes but it has felt like Kevin de Bruyne has decided his time at Manchester City is not going to end with a whimper.

It was the Belgian's brilliant free-kick that brought City back into the game and then his knock back that Omar Marmoush crashed home after Ilkay Gundogan had failed to get a proper contact on it.

Last week, everyone was talking about the game being too robotic.

This one isn't robotic, it's chaotic.

What a first half we are getting here. Kevin de Bruyne does well to keep it alive with the header at the back post, it was not a good strike attempt from Ilkay Gundogan but Omar Marmoush hits it down into the ground and through a couple of defenders on the line.

An incredible five minutes. It was coming, you could feel the pressure.

As soon as they scored the first goal, Kevin de Bruyne was getting them up and it is an incredible game we have in front of us.

James McAtee with a great chance to score on his full Manchester City Premier League debut. He is unmarked, standing on the six-yard line and anything on target is surely an equaliser.

But he doesn't get a great contact and nods it just wide. Should be 2-2. Great entertainment in the Manchester sunshine.

Excellent finish off the post from Kevin de Bruyne. It's all about Dean Henderson's body weight. He takes a step the wrong way at the wrong time but take nothing away from the quality and direction of the shot.

Daichi Kamada slides in and wipes out Nico Gonzalez and City get a free-kick central just outside the D. Kamada sees yellow.

I think Eberechi Eze is just off. My initial reaction was that he was slightly off. It is very, very close. What about the finish though.

The ball is in the Manchester City net again, once more from a move down the right wing, with Eberechi Eze getting on the end of the cross, taking a few touches and curling into the bottom corner.

It was very tight, but the semi-automated system says Eze was offside, with the decision made quickly.
