    FT: Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

And Arsenal win it, 1-0 with a goal from a corner. Textbook.

  2. FULL-TIMEpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Fulham 2-0 Tottenham

    Fulham win it late on!

  3. 'Chelsea will be a force to be reckoned with next season'published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Enzo Maresca will be disappointed that Chelsea haven't been able to create many chances.

I do think Chelsea will be a force to be reckoned with next season. I think they will get better if they add a couple of players in key areas.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 2-0 Tottenham

Good save, Bernd Leno! Spurs' attack links up well for once and after Son slides a pass into the path of Dom Solanke on the left of the area he hits a low shot that the German keeper does well to get down and keep out.

  5. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 2-0 Tottenham

There may have been more in that Spurs penalty appeal earlier than I thought - another angle makes it look more like a foul, though it's still not clear cut to me.

  6. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    I can tell you Andy. Arsenal's xG is 0.77, Chelsea's 0.34.

  7. 'Not many clear cut chances'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

    Andy Reid
Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

This game has panned out as I thought it would with not many clear cut chances.

I would imagine the expected goals for both teams is quite low.

In response to Stu (15:12), you can be as smug as you want but Caicedo and Cucurella have been Chelsea's two best players this season. I am highly critical of Chelsea's insane transfer policy but they are two of the major successes (oh, and we're still ahead of you in the table!)

Last few minutes at Arsenal, who look utterly comfortable if not threatening themselves.

  10. "He's one of our own" - Ryan Sessegnon take a bowpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 2-0 Tottenham

That was sensational from Ryan Sessegnon, who doesn't celebrate against his former club Tottenham Hotspur, but looks emotional after sealing all three points with a curling finish.

There are chants of "he's one of our own" at Craven Cottage. That was certainly Fulham's Sessegnon, not the injury-prone one that struggled at Spurs.

  11. 'That's game over'published at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 2-0 Tottenham

    Ben Mee
Brentford defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

A fantastic finish from Ryan Sessegnon. A long ball from Bernd Leno, Sessegnon comes on the pitch and gets the right side of Ben Davies.

It's a ball that should be dealt with. Sessegnon sized it up - a great finish into the top corner.

    That's game over.

  12. goal

    Why of course it is...

An awful goal for Spurs to concede, in every way. It's a punt downfield, Ryan Sessegnon is there and outmuscles Ben Davies before chopping inside and curling into the top corner with his right foot.

Sessegnon has only just come on. He spent five largely fruitless years with - Tottenham.

He's banged that one in though and put a smile on Hugh Grant's face. Winning.

When will Spurs fans awake from their Ange-hypnotised state. You've got your players back (most) - what is the excuse now? Surely not "Ange-ball"?

    Alan

When will Spurs fans start accepting that they're just not a very good team? It's not the manager, you're just not as big a club as you think you are.

    Shaun

As a Spurs fan, I just want this season to end, so we can sack Ange, then look forward to the new season.

  15. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 1-0 Tottenham

Spurs have been pretty desperate and disparate this afternoon but that's good from Lucas Bergvall, he beats one man, then tries to go around Calvin Bassey and goes down inside the area.

There's nothing in that but good enterprise.

Stu: As a Brighton fan I chuckle watching our former gems playing for Chelsea, they may well be worth millions in a progressive entertaining team such as ours but worth peanuts once that Chelsea shirt is put on and poorly coached.

    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea are having more and more possession but they haven't been able to fashion many opportunities or put Arsenal under pressure at all.

Looking forward to hearing Ange's excuse today. Can't be squad, can't be pitch, can't be VAR. Perhaps the "unfair criticism" levelled at his managerial capability has caused a distraction? Or is it really his managerial capability! I'm very much on the latter.
