Spurs are looking at lot more solid defensively than at any time this season. Perhaps down to having Archie Gray in that holding position. Saying that, they will probably concede about now!

Chelsea have taken confidence from that near call, they've kept the ball for a long period in the Arsenal half.

How can anyone say we are improving under Maresca? We are only 4th because the rest of the league isn't that great. No intensity, no pace, no desire, no style of play. We will get a big beating today.

Everybody in the stadium thought that would trickle in.

It just bounced out of David Raya's hands and everyone thought it would trickle into the back of the net.

So, so close and almost another goalkeeper howler!

It's at the other end though. Marc Cucurella hits a volley well enough but it should be meat and drink to David Raya but the ball squirms through his gloves like the proverbial bar of soap.

It could go anywhere. It does go about a foot wide of the post for a corner.

  6. Injury scare for Romeropublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs defender Cristian Romero briefly went down injured and the Argentine initially looked very concerned but is hoping to run it off.

    One to watch.

This is good from Fulham, they've raised the tempo and Timothy Castagne could probably have made more of half a chance there, the ball rolled to him but he didn't make a telling connection and Guglielmo Vicario made an easy stop.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez and Arsenal centre back Gabriel are having quite a battle.

Fernandez just shouted over Gabriel whilst he was on the floor after the two went into the challenge.

  9. CLOSE!published at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea

Half a chance for Arsenal as Martin Odegaard finds Gabriel Martinelli on the edge of the area, the angle isn't kind and the forward can only skim a shot over the top.

  10. Postpublished at 14:04 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

That is close though - quality again from Willian and Antonee Robinson on the left for Fulham, the captain flies in a cross to the near post that has to be dealt with and Cristian Romero does well to stretch and clear.

He may have hurt himself in the process - but the Spurs skipper is able to carry on for now.

  11. Fulham's first shot in 31 minutespublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

You won't be surprised to hear that this is not a classic.

Fulham have needed 31 minutes to have their first shot on goal through defender Joachim Anderson from range.

It followed an earlier shot off target from Rodrigo Bentancur.

That's all that's happened and the biggest cheer came when Calvin Bassey outmuscled Cristian Romero and threw him to the floor just now.

Ange has learned about managing our injuries the hard way, but is doing fantastically well to manage James Maddison & Micky van de Ven - two players central to success in Europa.

Dave: Chelsea were two points behind Liverpool with a chance to go top. Maresca effectively said we weren’t good enough to be in a title fight then the slump started. Read into that what you will.

Anon: Given all the out of position selections by Maresca, why not play James in goal? He could hardly be worse.

Fulham do well to pinch the ball off Spurs and sling it out to Willian on the left, he cuts inside and goes down - it looked like a free-kick to me but referee Andy Madley says play on. The Brazilian can't believe it...

Marginally better from Chelsea as they work the ball out to Pedro Neto on the right but his cross is beyond everyone/there wasn't anyone in there in the first place.

Chelsea can't get into this game, they can't get any possession.

The last thing they need is to get someone sent off.

Arsenal are pulling Chelsea all over the place.
